I appreciate the feedback. I also wasn’t sure how much the the ink was going to affect any book. Is it in the same category as date stamping and such….
I don't think so, unless the date stamping was done by the manufacturer. Essentially, if there is a defect on the book by the manufacturer, then you won't docked for it. Unless its like an error Spawn #1 or something.

At least a 9.2. Maybe a 9.4 after C&P. Pretty good looking book!

Edge Wear, Blunted/Rounded Corners, Spine Stress/Staple Tears at Top Staple W/Color Break, Slight Stress at Lower Staple, Staples Discolored, Foxing on the Edges of the Front and Rear Cover.
I do not see any major defects although, IMO, the stress/color breaks by the top staple prevent this book from being a higher grade.
6.5 FINE+ (FN+): Back to Top
Fits the criteria for Fine but with an additional virtue or small accumulation of virtues that improves the book's appearance by a perceptible amount.6.0 FINE (FN): Back to Top
An above-average copy that shows minor wear but is still relatively flat and clean with no significant creasing or other serious defects. Some accumulation of minor bindery/printing defects is allowed. Minor cover wear apparent, with minor to moderate creases. Inks show a significant reduction in reflectivity. Blunted corners are more common, as is minor staining, soiling, discoloration, and/or foxing. Stamped or inked arrival dates may be present. A minor spine roll is allowed. There can also be a 1/4" spine split or severe color break. Staples may show minor discoloration. Minor staple tears and a few slight stress lines may be present, as well as minor rust migration. Paper is tan to brown and fairly supple with no signs of brittleness. Minor interior tears at the margin may be present. Centerfold may be loose.I will gladly take a 6.0-6.5 on this book.

7.5. Off-white to white pages. With a clean and press (C&P), maybe an 8.0.
However, I would not be surprised if this gets a 7.0 seeing how CGC is being harsher with its grades nowadays.

Conservatively, I would say 5.5-6.0
However, a C&P, I think you could top 6.5. The only thing that concerns me is bottom right corner crease on the front cover.

Ok, I'll play.
Note that I knew virtually nothing about grading comic books two weeks ago, so this is nothing more than me comparing this to some other pics I've seen online, but I would say 4.0 VG to 4.5 VG+.
And that is my first attempt to grade someone else's comic!
Thanks for your thoughts! They are much appreciated

Could be wrong, but seems like 3.5-4.0 to me.

Prob 5.0
If the back were like the front 6.0
After C&P, maybe 6.0

Thanks for the update on the book.
