prohibit verb (used with object) to forbid (an action, activity, etc.) by authority or law:Smoking is prohibited here. to forbid the action of (a person). to prevent; hinder. So yes e-bay is prohibiting sales of the books. Censorship is often a choice. Is selling /not selling Hustler suppressing anything politically unacceptable? Or was his business decision pressured or altered due to anything? Are the E-books politically unacceptable? Just because I can get the items elsewhere doesn't matter, anymore than if it matters that I can pick up a book that may be banned by local Library, town, etc.

You don't think it has anything to do with prohibiting or suppressing anything politically unacceptable? A business prohibiting politically unaccepting material IS an great example of censorship. They even sent people a reason under the "Offensive Matericals policy" Just like a library or a school. They think it is better for their business /institution etc to not sell those items because its considered politically unacceptable. Books have also been challenged/censored at more local community levels as well. The author/artist themselves can also self censor. It's certainly their right, and censorship isn't always wrong either. I see a lot of misconceptions, also just because I can purchase the deemed offensive item elsewhere is moot.

You can still pick up a copy of Mad 1 for between $500 and $1000. KIller Croc is still dirt cheap. Spider-man 298 isn't too expensive. Lots of Early Mickey Mouse appearances aren't too expensive. Tons of DC comics are affordable good deals.

This morning I read a fictional article today from Vox. Trying to Claim "The Cat in the Hat Comes Back" was racist. The author claimed "(I would, though, suggest that this context makes that plot line in the sequel where the Cat smears black ink all over the house and then the kids yell at him to kill the stains kind of uncomfortable, in light of the racial history of the way Black people, dirt, and ink are associated in American pop culture.)" Sadly the author doesn't seem to have read the book at all. The "Black ink" was pink. (When confronted, The author later made a small change removing the word "black" from the article)

Final Crisis 7 is now a $700.00 book in 9.8 dang. Things move quick. Now I gotta go digging again.

If buying now, I wouldn't invest in either in 9.8 but I do think there might be a bit more to squeeze out in the lower grades for people that just want a copy. Overall I think there are better investments out there.
