So if i sold the wolverine 1-4 in a lot what you think is the most i could get just ballpark? I didn't pay too much for them and grading and i graded a secret wars 8 that was 9.8 white so at least 3-500 there.
I'd guess around $1200 but thats just off the top of my head

Imo its worth it to take a shot. The book looks good for the grade a regrade doing nothing might get a better grade. I recently got a hulk 180 cgc 5.5 with similar grader notes i cracked it and with a clean and press got a 7.5 so I think its possible to get up to 2 more points on this book.

To all the eBay sellers:
If you “accidentally” accepted a buyers offer, what do you do?
Recently had a seller cancel my order and offered to sell it to me at a higher price. Any suggestions welcomed.
Not plausible to accidentally accept an offer its not a 1 click thing. But if say i was drunk and did i would just take my lumps and go through with the sale.

Well this makes so much sense. I bought a book from him awhile back and it graded well so i started following his auctions but i it seemed regardless of the book it was always getting bidded up. Rampant shill bidding certainly makes sense.

Yeah again reluctant to chime in on something I'm not directly involved in but it's hard to not call bs when i see it. If customers books were sold and it seems they were it was not an "accident" thats just not plausible. More likely the returning of some property is just trying to stave off the imminent threat of legal proceedings. Any chance of honest mistake is long gone.

In my experience, the majority of YouTube video are examples of what not to do. Way too many yahoos crushing and toasting books and taking shortcuts. They show the finished products and they are wavy as hell. You need to be able to discern the wheat from the chaff.
Yeah i think i probably watched 8 or 9 different people and the techniques they used then kind of sorted through some of them with trial and error til i got a process i was comfortable with. You're right some of them seemed sketchy. Just felt like I could get the same results as ccs without the extra cost. My results with submissions have been positive, even this one with 3 books with canvassing was still a great submission. Now that I'm aware of this issue I'll adjust accordingly.

Haha youtube of course where people learn how to do everything. Actually I'd always used card stock between the cover and teflon sheet but with some particularly bad creasing I'd upped the amount of steam and didn't use the card stock paper. It worked wonders on the creases but obviously increased the chances of this.

You know one of the worst things about this situation(I say one of because there are many) is there are probably people out there that sent their books in and have no clue about this situation. They probably expected a long timeframe and thought they were dealing with a reputable business.

Drugs are no laughing matter... ex wives however, are hysterical! (Although they are less funny in the moment)
To be clear ex wife's are much more dangerous then 99% of the drugs out there. Granted my knowledge of recreational drugs is pre fentanyl.

Well I've been reluctant to chime in on this train wreck, but my thoughts when i saw the post about "she stole my second set of keys" were this is an attempt to set up a reason books are missing.

Thanks. I am really not a very huge collector per say. I collect a lot of memorabilia for growth potential that I think will do well.
What are your thoughts about if there is currently any difference between the 2 now and in the future?
Thanks William
From what I've observed from buying and selling the last couple of years the newsstand vs direct price variance is growing somewhat rapidly. If I had to guess I'd say this will probably continue but of course idk for sure.
