So then he’s selling alcohol. He would need a liquor license to sell it? What if I ate/drank immacuclean would I be poisoned? So if I go to the doctors and they say what did you take I’m gonna say immacuclean… so wouldn’t the label have to disclose what chemicals are in it for it to be sold as a good for cleaning? sounds like this guys got a law suit waiting to happen. -
Scheduled for grading...TWO MONTHS NOW!

Did you drop them off in person or send in the mail? I can’t leave my state let alone my country. My preference would be to take them direct and get hoodwinked in person. -
Gday Mates, Ok check my previous post So I found immacuclean it’s sold in bottles you buy from immaculate comics. The post has a YouTube video they use. Anyways im curious as to what is in it. I got this from a reddit thread. Read my post in my other post for immulate comics YouTube video using it. Also I mentioned using salicylic acid do you think that’s what it could be or something similar? It has to be water based whatever it is???? Thanks

Gday Cobb, so I found this YouTube video called immaculate comics and they sell a product called immacuclean also the user has in depth videos about cleaning. what I was wondering is do you think immacuclean is a something like salicylic acid? If you use wet you will need to dry it press etc if you do it but…I tried Stridex pads on this comic didn’t lose colour didn’t do much but remove some dirt. The books were very old 20+ years. Did see it a bit brighter. just wondering what compound is in immacuclean? He adds it to water so it’s definitely water based. I threw in the reddit post that expands on these cleaning methods. hit these links and tell me what you think Thanks buddy -

Ok I search dry cleaning sponge it keeps returning me to magic erasers, do you have a brand name or material it is made of? Also I found this other brand, product absorene. Any tips or tricks, suggestions? -
Hi 👋 New guy here, so I have a little bit of this grime on a couple of comics that caught the eye of a storm. im going to try and clean 🧽 with magic eraser. The pages are like a plasticky synthetic paper. Sorta smooth but has this grit I can feel on the cover. And there’s some brown which cold be from the water and dirt, or just dirty water. I am not a comic restorative person I have used magic eraser before to clean marks in art gallery. Are there any you recommend? i will attach picture of comic damage example and the type of eraser I can buy. I also have cotton tips. Shouldn’t need a press if this works but just wondering if eraser may affect flatness, and what would be best way to place book while cleaning with eraser and tips? Arigato 815K1

What is more important: Actual 1st appearance or cover appearance?

A recent modern cover and appearance that is debatable is Knull. I would really like to know which is his first cover appearance. Thanks -
PGM: Batman Detective Comics The New 52 #0
815K1 posted a topic in Hey buddy, can you spare a grade?
Gday Mates, Thanks for looking at my books. I have a few New 52 #0 I have a issue with these comics Not sure about a clean? They got a little damaged. Mainly the cover, some are better than others. I can feel a bit of grit on the cover but it’s not necessarily visible. I added some photos of inside, the cover and second page for some. If you could drop a grade or suggestion for or against grading that’d be appreciated. No more for today. 815K1 -

WHAT COMPLETE COMIC-BOOK RUNS HAVE YOU SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED ?
815K1 replied to fishbone's topic in Comic Polls & FAQs
Collecting isn’t the same, you could get a weekly, a twice monthly now you got stuff like Doomsday Clock a 12 part series that took 2 years. that wasn’t very satisfying. Anyways… -
You gotta go on print run. Low print run and a popular book, sheesh. Just the other day the TMNT released Last Ronin #1 and the demand outstripped supply. But it’s relatively new book,2021.. so you can still get it but you’re gonna pay. there’s a big case of FOMO in peoples lives, this increases when you see something you like and someone’s already got a bid on it or it’s sold out everywhere. So it’s affordable if you think it’s worth it. I use census as a guide to what has sold in the last year. You find the middle of the most selling grades and look at the price average. It’s an asset, an investment, you have to track the market or you will get burned.

If HALO grading is considering itself in the same lane as CGC and CBCS then where can I find a census? If I visit GoCollect I see CGC and CBCS (not much updates of CBCS census) but I don’t see HALO and I don’t see PGX. CGC and CBCS have their census on their website, different like population report vs Census but you get the jist. I live in Australia so HALO is the local but it’s now in the USA also. A question for another time is when CGC is going to be in Australia? So…Anyway where’s HALO and PGX Census data for the books they’ve graded? EXCELSIOR… 815K1

If need to send for signature, then why wouldn’t you crack the slab and get it regraded. Makes sense if it makes money.

Hulk 141 July 1971 Going by CGC grading you can’t get higher than 7.5 for your off white pages. then the spine is slightly rolled a corner creased right bottom dings in top right cover spine stresses, looks like staples are rusted? Cover is coming loose? Maybe IDK 🤷♂️ Spine appears to round more toward the bottom of the book not a bad old book and at 6.5 that’s pretty good, it’s probably a 6.0 at best. looking at census for CGC annual grades for Hulk 141, 8.0 to 9.2 is where the market is for this book. c&p might get you an extra $100-$200 for it, not sure if it bumps up past 7.5 Could probably move it as is for around $100.00, or more if you’re lucky.
