Definitely would have been a buyer on the 1, 12,13,14 and 18- those prices were crazy low in my eyes. Not sure why someone would have listed so low considering the recent trend up on Vamps- but as stated, someone had a good day. Have to tell myself that I can’t always get every good deal but a bit of remorse seeing this thread that I didn’t look yesterday- stupid work got in the way 😂
Vamp 7 at under $600 was another great price.
With those numbers. I think selling my 9.2 Vampi 1 is not going to happen at 7K

Speaking of a hot summer, it got up to 99 here today. While in the pool with my grandkids, a package arrived early from the UK. Estimated arrival was to be Aug. 9, but found it’s way to my to my door and I rescued it from the oppressive heat! I do have nicer copies of this book but the price was right and the seller was kind enough to point out after the sale that he forgot to mention the 15p stamp on the cover. He was willing to refund the purchase because of it, but I said it was fine as I didn’t mind it. Too nice to pass up!
Speaking of tough in grade.....

If a forum member does not have physical possession of a book they're selling for someone else....then they should be required to note in their sales thread that it's a consignment and they don't have the book in hand.
I would be all for having @CGC Mike add this to the Marketplace Rules.
You would think it common knowledge.

$400 for an 8.0 Nightmare 20. Do I think it’s a bit high, yes. Ridiculous, no. It is a tough issue so at these current market prices it seems fair. Great book either way. Those blasted fingerprints did it again!
I certainly wouldnt scoff at that price either. It's a great book. I'm jealous I dont have one yet.😪

Worry 1. Bed bugs cant get through the mylar
So remove your comics from the box, and leave the box. Make sure when you take them out you inspect them first before leaving your home with them.
-
If you have artwork on your wall they will melt, your comics ? I wouldnt subject my books to that kind of heat. So there are options I would take 2 and shut the heat treatment down and fumigate my home instead.
Best is to always be proactive and check the room before your stay.
-
Your books will get damaged from the heat treatment the mylar cant survive 300 + degrees.
-
To all people who use hotels make sure you never leave your suitcases on the bed. Always use the stand that they provide. I service many upscale hotels, and it doesnt matter whether you get a room at Motel6 or Trump Towers they all get bed bugs. Inspect your bed prior to sleeping in it. When you get back home leave your full suitcase in the hot sun for a full day.

@oakman29 - help this guy out!
I am an exterminator of 25 years . I can give you some pointers. Maybe instead of heat treatment you can go another way. Fumigation of your home will not only kill bed bugs , but take care of termites at the same time without heat treating .

There is a part of me that wish I had bought a copy I saw at a show three years ago for $100 instead, but I'm still happy.
Wow even 100.00 is a good buy for a 3rd print.

So one of the algorithmically-featured items presented to me upon my daily visit to da'Bay was this book--and it caught my interest because it is literally the exact same book as my only slab--a CGC 9.0 CREEPY #1!
So of course I set about putting CGC's new Certification Verification Tool to good use, and looked the girl up...
A relative newcomer to the census less than two months ago! ...But that's all in the Grader Notes? Nothing about that color-breaking crunch at the bottom of the spine (front and back) and the bottom leading edge (especially on back)? MAYBE a little damage at the top of the spine too (especially on front)?
So I looked up mine--and realized that my slab is one year old tomorrow! WOOT!
But I think my 9.0 looks better than your 9.0...
The copy for sale doesnt look bright and fresh like a new copy.
Yours is very nice.
My 9.0 has that bright color look.
