  1. That's a pretty Showcase 13. Probably my favorite Showcase Flash cover also.

    Thanks

He had a small stack of comics he was pricing and this book was on his table, I kept stopping back waiting for him to get a price. He literally handed the book to me after he put a price on it and I said :takeit:

  2. It's just listed as scheduled for grading. I can call and get the grades now? I don't have to wait for it to change to graded?

Although grades are final when the order ships. You can call when it says scheduled for grading as they will have grades for you.

  3. Yup, different back cover and much larger than standard comic size. Good memory Tom (thumbs u

I have never owned one of the treasury sized editions, however over the years I remember seeing them sell on Ebay. Typically sold for over $100.00.

I've had over 20 copies of the regular 3-D edition. There is also a 2-D version which is scarce, I do not believe I ever unearthed one of those.

I would say close to 100% of the buyers of this comic are Michael Jackson memorabilia collectors.

  4. Anyone know the estimated print run of Howard the Duck #33 which came out in the 1986? Low print run according to Overstreet!

    More than 100k.

Didn't a 9.8 of that just go $250 or something on eBay?

There are only 2 #33 9.8 and neither were for sale on ebay. Doc Joe got his from Reynold Jay and the other went to a private sale to a guy in Britain.

Incorrecto. Top Notch sold one last month for $332 on eBay. I think I even started a thread about it. Sale is in GPA.

yep the 33 and 25 are now paired up side by side in a private collection

  5. My money is on the fact that Doc Joe now owns that book.

Mine too. Thought the same exact thing. :)

Doc Joe already had copy #1, this book went to another collector. The book is not that hard to find, but finding it without color breaks is tough. I've been looking for two years. The #32 seems to be tougher, it is very odd that they kept the same numbering with that large time gap between issues.

  6. So, we've got a thread about Star comics with 20 posts, and nobody has mentioned "Peter Porker: The Spectacular Spider-Ham".

    What the Juststopit.DoyouWANTastrike???? (shrug)

One of my all-time favorite series. Actually, the only series I had a mail-order subscription to.

If anybody has potential 9.8 copies of any Spider-Ham book (apart fro the "Marvel Tails" book), let me know if you want to get rid of anything.

    Not 9.8 but still :cloud9:
