  1. Yes sir. Batman Adventures 12, Eternals 1, She Hulk 1, entire NM 9.8 runs of G.I. Joe, The Nam, Punisher, Wolverine, X-Factor, Batman Death In The Family, Amazing Spiderman 300, the entire Amazing Spiderman McFarland run,and lots and lots of others. Now granted, a lot of other junk to go with it, but you gotta take the food with the bad. I'm pretty happy.
  2. I guess Craigslist isn't totally dead. Just picked up thus huge haul, 64 long boxes of comics. Lots of junk, nothing really old, but some good stuff too. What I am curious about, there is a TON of small press publisher comics in this lot. Renegade, Kitchen Sink, PC, Eclipse, Comico, etc. I believe most it has no real value, but are there certain titles and or publishers I should be looking for as I organize?
  3. Actually, I haven't. I've only been here about a year-and-a-half, but in the summer time I run the dehumidifier Non-Stop
  4. Absolutely! I had to sell and therefore rationalize a whole bunch of comics to get those!
  5. I love your logic for getting the grails; you sound EXACTLY like me!
  6. My latest addition. I think this almost completes my quest for all the Major key books from Marvel, so stoked! Many thanks to mycomicshop.com! I sell a lot to them, but have also made two pretty big purchases, this being one of them. As always a flawless transaction!
  7. Thank you, but going the opposite direction; actually reducing the number of long boxes. Less comics, more high value books. Oh, and more posters too!
  8. Good luck! I think I got lucky, I have not seen one since. I searched "John Byrne poster" there aren't a whole lot out there. Ebay has a couple also.
  9. There's actually a story behind that. I went to a local comic shop that I haven't been to in quite some time, its run by the same owner since the late 70's. He had a beat up copy of this on his wall, all torn up and weathered. Me being a big Marvel poster guy and never having seen this, I offered to buy it from him. As expected he said no, so when I got home I immediately started my search. At the time there was only one offered on Ebay and they wanted $400...no way lol. So I picked mine up at Amazon, mint condition still in the original cellophane tube! Couldn't be happier with a $60 investment!
  10. And the ironic part? We move in to this new home as I make the decision to start reducing my collection, so I have no need of all that space lol. However, as I'm reducing my comic book collection, I'm increasing my vintage Marvel poster collection, so wall space is the premium; I now have 18 pieces.
  11. Absolutely, yes. We moved in here about a year-and-a-half ago, and at my old house the basement did Flood, 2 in of water. Luckily I had everything off the floor then, as I do now. Plus, I made it a point to get a couple tons of dirt and shored up the foundation on the outside. Knock on wood please, I should be good to go.
  12. It is, lol. Almost the entire finished basement. When we moved in my wife said "hey, you can have this whole side for your nerd cave if you want". If I want?! Yes please and thank you!
  13. Want to share my latest wall additions to my Nerd Cave. The 2 piece poster set Marvel/DC crossover that never happened, with art by none other than my favorite artist, John Byrne! The second and third pics are for frames of reference. Sorry about the glare!
  14. Complete Batman Rebirth set written by Tom King. This set includes two different number 1's, issues 1-85, annuals 1-4, The Flash crossovers issues 21 and 22. And of course this includes issue 77, the death of Alfred. 92 books total, all bagged and boarded in NM condition. $230, shipped in the continental US only. First I'll take it wins. No returns, PayPal only please. Please no bad listers or probie. If you PM me my response time is normally very quick.
  15. Obvious (and not so obvious) negatives: chip lower right FC and chip lower right BC. Chipping along top edge, cover detached and spine in poor condition. Positives: nice color, pages are complete and supple. Thinking "maybe" a 2.0...what say you?
  16. Selling a few nice Batman CGC key books. Detective 359 4.0, Batman 171 5.0 and Batman 232 7.0 white pages! Also have a ton of trade paperbacks and graphic novels too. https://www.ebay.com/itm/264518253329
  17. Not a high value superhero book, but good find, nice condition and goes perfectly in my Dell section on the spinner.
  18. Picked up number 2 here on the boards a month or so ago, just got this sweet number one on Ebay. Now on to the ever elusive number 3!
  19. Good idea, I will go do that now! Looking for a lower grade then 8.5...
  20. And thanks for trying! I have issue #2, can get #1 on ebay but I never see the last issue.
