  1. If so, my intention is to post in the pulp for sale thread, but I guess I need a little advice first. Value?
  2. You are awesome, thank you!
  3. OH MY...!! I sincerely apologize to everyone for creating such an uproar, I think I see the mistake now (my mistake for trusting what ebay reps have told me)! There is a difference in "required" and "recommended". You are right, that is recommended not, required. I called ebay literally 4 times and 3 separate reps told me the same thing, only graded copies allowed. So understandable I got nervous, I just don't think they ever understood my question to begin with. We will see what happens on 7/12 but I'll bet we ate good.
  4. But the "professional grader" is also required. That's where all this started.
  5. In the required item specifics they ask what grading company, CGC, CBCS PGX. If it's raw then you obviously don't choose that. However, it's a required field and they do not give an "ungraded" option. I encourage people to call them and see if they get an answer different than the ones I got. Man, I hope so!
  6. I tried the same, nothing. Again, 3 separate people at EBay have told me this.
  7. I agree, I feel the same. However I have called them 3 separate times, all have said the same thing. A supervisor is supposed to call me back within 24 hours as they are "looking in to it ". This all stems from receiving a message from them that you need to update all listings or they cannot be renewed due to new changes. That update is stating which grading company graded your book. Well if it's raw then there obviously is no grading company but they do not give an option for raw.
  8. Actually I just posted something rather shocking on this over in the official ebay thread, you will want to read it.
  9. What the?! Have you all heard this?! This literally shocks me, it's like ebay is trying their hardest to lose sales! In July they will now require ALL COMICS TO BE GRADED IF YOU WANT TO SELL ON EBAY! Yes, you heard that right. I called them to ask about the "professional grader" requirement because mine is just a raw copy. Effective soon, all comic books must be graded in order to be listed on ebay. Furthermore, if you have listings that is currently missing this, you will not be able to renew unless this is filled out.
  10. That is some bad-assery right there, nice find!
  11. Hi all! Has anyone seen these before? I have scoured the internet, could not find anything. Obviously foreign editions, but curious about them...Chinese, japanese? Based on an American version?
  12. New to me also. I have heard of the facsimile editions but not this; it appears to be identical to the real thing.
  13. This reminds me of a couple of years ago. I bought a collection of graphic novels and trade paperbacks from a guy; his dad used to work for a print shop back in the day that Marvel contracted to do their work. He said his dad would come home all the time with these to give to his son. The collection had around 15 the New Mutants GN, around 20 of these Captain Marvel, hundreds of trade paperbacks...so much fun to go through!
  14. Takes me out then; all my lighting in my cave is fluorescent. Thanks for the tip!
  15. I concur! Also, since we are on the topic, I have often thought about doing the same, but does the lighting affect the comics at all? In other words, any discoloration?
