  1. Admin, please delete. I always thought ebay sent 1099s based on GROSS sales of over $20,000? Is that assumption incorrect? I go to my seller hub and it states I don't get a 1099 for last year. My NET sales were under $20,000, so maybe it is in fact based on net rather than gross? Anyone know for sure?
  2. I have used MCS for years, only for buying though. Recently I decided to consign a few higher end keys; two of them sold in less than a couple months! Very happy indeed!
  3. I don't necessarily collect westerns but great condition golden age early 1950s and a great price I couldn't pass up!
  4. My EC Comics Library hardcover collection. Went from owning zero to these in two weeks lol.
  5. Thanks, I'm leaning that way myself. Apparently Heritage grades these as 4.0 and prices them as such.
  6. Here's what I able to find out: No pages are missing from what I can tell. There's ads, letter columns, etc. What it looks like to me is the staple has been cut off and the pages glued in.
  7. Good to know, I didn't think about the trimming aspect. Trying to come up with a fair price to offer him that's equitable for both of us.
  8. I have a chance to purchase these and hoping to get approximate value on them. I haven't really seen "like items" on ebay. These are all Marvel silver age, early issues of FF, X-Men, ASM, etc. In very nice condition too! Thanks all!
  9. These things are massive! Took me 3 trips to get them in my nerd cave lol.
  10. Sharing a Marketplace haul from yesterday, late 1940s to mid 1950s. A couple hundred Dell funny animals and westerns. However, a few gems in there... The good: I paid on average $2 a book. Selling all (except for the last few) will likely do well. The bad: brittle pages on some, loose or separated covers etc. Take the good with the bad...
  11. Not exactly super valuable but still cool to own the complete set, mostly high grade (especially after a press).
  12. Been a bit since I posted my nerd cave. First pic is my PC, the next two are collections I pick up here and there. The next few are odds and ends, spinner rack, things on my wall, an Incredible Hulk pinball machine converted to a coffee table, etc. Enjoy!
  13. Marketplace pickup. Beautiful Spotlights, at first I thought #12 was a Facsimile. Maybe another 100 or so golden age Disney and low grade 1960s DC. I paid $75 for all so did pretty well.
  14. Ha! Yes, I was in the 25th ID and you are the first to recognize that (or the first to say something at least). Cavalry Scout, hoo-ah!
  15. Hi all! I don't really collect Fawcett, but man these are gorgeous books! Opinion; is $1075 shipped a fair deal?
  16. Decided to collect the 4 GRR books; here are my first two. Very happy with the Avengers.
  17. On the face of it this appears to be a very clean book. Cover has good gloss and great colors, pages are nice. Tight binding. Some light wear along top and bottom edges, specifically on back cover. However, there is about a half inch spine split at top, front cover. How will this affect the grade? Many thanks!
  18. For me if all three would have presented themselves at the same time, I would take option 2. Saving a little $$ is always good, plus OW pages, and that amount of chipping I can definitely live with.
