I have an unpublished page, but not from a comic. It's from Sheldon Mayer's attempt to get Sugar and Spike into syndication on the comic page of newspapers around the country. He tried twice and this is the "Sunday" from one of those tries. Click the link to get a bigger image and more information. At least. It could go for more given some of the creators on it. It's likely as genuine Bob Kane as you are going to find, for example.

With Larry Stroman? Undelivered commissions, IIRC. You can see a bunch of threads on him in the Comic Art Buyer Beware group on Facebook. As I read the situation, if you buy from him at a show and he finishes the art work all is good, but don't let him take it home. If you order it by mail/email/FB/whatever, you might regret it. I have NO first hand experience and I've never met the man. I'm just summarizing what I've read and remember from the reading.

Re: 1o1DOA (one-of-one Digital Original Art) I can't speak for anyone else, but my position is simple. If it's a digital drawing of a printed page, I'll buy the printed page and stop. I understand print quality and COA and artist integrity, but really the printed page in the comic is just fine by me.

The yellowing is probably a stain from the glue and it's not good for the paper. You might consider getting it cleaned and restored. Free advice in the Spoiler text.

Actually, I do have something one might consider art if one is in a generous mood. This is a recreation of the map of Middle Earth by Christopher and JRR Tolkien by me. It's on a poster board and this picture "de-ages" the piece. Click it to see the aged version and read more about it.

If you are asking what its market price might be, I'd suggest reading the first post on this thread. It provides tips on how to figure it out. If you are asking if that's really by Gene, I'd say no doubt about it. If you are asking if I like it, the answer is, "Yes, I do." Hope one of these is helpful.

FWIW, there is a Facebook group called Steve Ditko Letters. Lots of folks don't like Facebook and I get that, but you can sign-up and view a lot of stuff without sharing anything and without "friending" anyone.

You might want to contact someone at a local museum and see if there is a conservator close to you.

For three years, my wife and occasionally my daughters followed me to conventions. The watched to see to whom I spoke and then unknown to me came around and asked them to draw a sketch in a sketchbook for my 60th birthday. Here's my 40 Sketches for 60 Years sketchbook. FWIW, I've installed flush mount LED lights. The part that clips to the sheet rock is very thin. Above it and connected by an electrical cord is the box that has the controls and transformer. There are 3 light settings on that box (3000, 4000, 5000 lumens). We set it for the middle, but that might change. We like them a lot. I can get the brand name if you want it.

Sorry girls, the inheritence has dropped again. Seriously, if you want a good all-ages book, I can highly recommend CiS. Check it out. When he feels like doodling, Mike writes and draws cartoons featuring Batgirl and Supergirl, a World's Finest team. For Inktober (an October inking challenge), he created a series of drawings based on the key words. Mine is called Hide. I find it really moving, the dramatic lighting and the concern on her face made this a must get. I also liked Wisp (probably my 3rd favorite) and Ominous (#2).
