  1. You might also keep your eyes open for copies of three volumes of the Giant Size Fan Thing which are a "Best of ..." from the CFA-APA.
  2. I too would be happy to have Adams/Adams, Adams/Palmer, and Adams/Giordano pages. I'll agree that Adams/Adams was consistently excellent though those Adams/Palmer Avenger pages make my heart to pitter-patter.
  3. The were a great team. My favorite Adams work though is with Palmer on the Avengers. I loved Batman and GL and Deadman (even more), but that Avenger's story was so good. Wish he'd finished it. Big John did a nice job and Palmer helped make it consistent, but it wasn't Adams.
  4. Hmmm.... I'd put Tom Palmer (see the Kree Skrull war in the Avengers) ahead of G and maybe ahead of Neal himself.
  5. Wow, four new art postings in one week. That's a record for me, I think Anthro by Howie Post - This was one of my favorite books for 6 months and then it was cancelled. Happy to find a page. Sad that I didn't realize Howie was still alive when I started buying commissions. Kitty Ravencraft by Dan Parent - Dan and Ferando Ruiz are best known for their work with Archie comics characters, but they've also created their own, Kitty Ravencraft. The items on this link are perks from the Kickstarter. 2017 Christmas Card (but we are always late so it’s really our 2018 NY card) by Dan Parent - Pretty self-explanatory.
  6. I didn't even think to check and see if that page was available! Great get and in many ways the perfect ending to the series. I hope people keep reading it over the years.
  7. Which makes me kinda sad. I used to search the insides of comics for the scenes that inspired the covers. Of course, that was long before I had a clue that such a link might not exist.
  8. I'm not particularly impressed with the covers, but I'd say the 1st and 2nd printings of 608. I should probably admit that I'm not a huge fan of Jim's artwork or any of the main Image guys; it's just not my style. Therefore, my votes are probably invalid. Oddly enough, I did enjoy his Legion story in the ICONS book; bought the book for that story in fact. Yep, I prefer his Legion work over his Batman, Superman, and X-Men work though I own most or all of all three.
  9. It's been so long since I commissioned something, I forgot to post this here My wonderful wife, Kathy, bought me a simple spectacular 35th wedding anniversary present. It took a while to create, but Yale Stewart of the JL8 webcomic nailed it. This piece is a JL8-style version of the Silver Age Legion of Super-Heroes, my favorite comic team. If you click the link and read the description, you'll learn who is who and what's going on. Click the image to embiggen

  11. As a 61 year old man, a tall beautiful woman is still impressive.
  12. Could be, we weren't there very long.
  13. Some were. Many were not. None of the Simonson's were.
  14. When I was there during SDCC 2017, they had a nice selection of Walt Simonson, Jack Kirby, and Dave Stevens pieces. It was worth a visit then. You can see pictures on my Facebook Page review of our SDCC visit. Enjoy.
  15. It really does depend on the writer/artist/book, e.g., Extremity is not a slowly paced story and Daniel Warren Johnson is doing excellent work.
  16. You can't fool me - you are never satisfied when it comes to Micronauts art! I'm sorry for the loss of your friend and glad you could help the family.
  17. So happy for you, Roger. I'd love a Rima page, but as you say, it's not likely.
  18. Here's mine sorted by Most Views - http://www.comicartfans.com/gallerydetailsearch.asp?gcat=10225&pm=1&pi=54&order=Views' and by Most Comments - http://www.comicartfans.com/gallerydetailsearch.asp?gcat=10225&order=Comm&pi=54 Enjoy
  19. The only Krenkel art that I own is printed inside some old books, but man his stuff is wonderful.
