  1. Apes on covers! That's a winning formula. Congratulations.
  2. Thanks, Terry. All of the Carol Day work is beautiful, but Problem Child is special. The thing that really amazes me is that there is so much work in a daily strip. How could he keep up the pace for 2800+ days? and it was done knowing that it was probably going to be destroyed after use (though in this case it was kept). Amazing.
  3. I understand your concern. We hire a house sitter to deal with this problem. It's not cheap, but it is much easier if you can find a good one. Merry Christmas, Sean.
  4. I first "knew" Bill as the artist of The Elementals. It's nice to see him drawing again. I think he did a really nice job on this OML. I was lucky enough to get images of Bigby and Snow in a Hero Initiative auction to scratch my itch.
  5. Pick up the book, you'll be glad that you did. Colors by Laura Martin and lettering by John Workman. It really reads well and the art - line drawings, colors, and letters - are more than worth the cost of admission.
  6. In this case, Terry Beatty got really irritated by the forgeries and activated his social network.
  7. Another article from Bleeding Cool is up.
  8. Cliff Meth published this picture of "ducoso."

  10. Thanks to Michael Steenbergen, Richard Evans, and the other fine people at Bedrock City Comic Company, I have a copy of Walter Simonson's Ragnarök HC with a drawing of Thor in it. I'm thrilled. Click to embiggen: If you want a rousing and very interesting take on what happens after Ragnarök, check out this book from Walt and IDW. You can pick up a copy of the collection by visiting your LCS or contacting Bedrock City at http://www.bedrockcity.com/
  11. I'm reminded of the classic advice - If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything.
  12. I recently had my two Carol Day "Problem Child" strips by David Wright framed. Absolutely beautiful series. Read the description to learn how you can get the collections for cheap. You can see the room here.
  13. Terry Beatty has really been beating the drum on this over on his FB page (scroll down to 12/14). I know that Frank Brunner filed on ebay about the HtD and there are indications that Bleeding Cool will publish on the topic and that ebay will actually look into it. We will see.
  14. Simon Bisley's has shown up for what seems to me to be a high price. Am I wrong? http://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1278710
  15. I always thought that Emma Stone should have been brought back into the movie franchise as MJ. Die the hair and change the attitude and she's there. But then, that's probably why I don't work in the movies.
  16. Those are excellent stories, but the best Spidey run is ASM 31-33. No need to argue it here.
  17. Part of my gift to my wife for our 33rd Anniversary. She's admired Michael Dooney's work for some time, mentioned getting a commission at some point, and is a fan of the Disney villainesses so I did the obvious. Click to embiggen.

  19. Or take a cell phone pic and text/email it to the seller (or vice versa, I suppose) or am I missing something?
  20. Here's what Heritage sent me a few minutes ago. Dallas | New York | Beverly Hills | San Francisco | Paris | Geneva
  21. Assuming that the buyer ever finds out. I miss the old days when you could talk to other bidders. Sigh...
