  1. I have been on the boards for over 10 years, mostly buy and rarely sell. I have had many a deal with several around here like Billy, Rick, ComicCav and Michael (Flex). Some scans were pre-sticker, Marathon Planet sticker included on all Planets, all others it will be listed in the individual book post if on holder. No returns on raw or CGC. Shipping is included in price to US. If Canada, pm and we can talk. All other destinations, I am unable to ship. No HOS or other bad people. Payment via check or MO and should be within 7 days of post unless worked out prior to . First in thread wins unless pm deal is first. Time stamp will determine if needed
  2. When I look in a FH book, I like to see these ads and notice which books were available on the newsstand at the exact same time. On a separate note, sometimes these ads can give a different look to what a cover “could have been”. As an example above, the Wings book has the woman in purple. The actual book you could buy at the time has her in a pink dress.
  3. Best 54 I’ve ever seen color wise by far. Sometimes with FH you get color or high grade. This one has both. With this one we could debate the loosely grading, but I think price would be the same if in a 7.5 or a 8 holder. It has White pages too as a bonus. This copy and the Planet 24 HA sold a few weeks ago are both color unicorns for their respective issues. For the record, I did not win either.
  4. This is a screen shot of your post for the only book I remember selling you. I think Markentoth owns it now.
  5. Yes, I designed it. When I first started collecting, I thought I would keep my books for along time. I used the sticker to identify and record my books as to which ones I acquired in order. Turns out I let go of a few every now and then. I even have the sticker on a few more books than Planets, but they have no number at the bottom. I still own these, one has a sticker..... It was fun to design, and as a I sold some I left the sticker on hoping they would stay so I could identify them. Might be hard to tell, but it is a clear circle sticker with blue or black printing of a circle planet with a few meteor holes sticking out with the words marathon Planet collection. The word PLANET is in full rivet design. I’ll try and get a better/closer pic later.
  6. Here is what one looks like in case you were wondering what we are talking about..... The number at the bottom designates what order I acquired the book in. For example, this is the 8th Planet I picked up.
  7. I think several of the Church Planets have good color and many more than expected do not have great color. He supposedly picked good ones out of the bunch, but he too was subject to lower quality printing being the only available copies to choose from. 🤔
  8. Thanks for posting this. I will certainly be in attendance. I am a big fan of L. Renee, she does have an interesting life story to tell.
  9. 17 is so cool. Your copy looks stellar. I agree with what someone else said , any 17 is a score. Yours is icing on the cake level good.
  10. Day Whatever... I have lost count now. Earlier in the thread I posted my Planet 33 and said this “ This book is either my favorite or second favorite book I own depending on the day. “ Here is the book that takes placeholder #1 some days. I owned the Planet 19 Lost Valley 9.2 for sometime and let it go several years ago. This book is super tough to locate, find for sale/auction, and in high grade so when it came up for auction it was one of only a couple books I have ever been all in on. I still think I got it for a very fair price. Won it and have never looked back. 😊
  11. That is beautiful. I bid on this one and I think 2 other Zolnerowich recreations that HA had a few years ago. Won 0 of them, nice to see this one is in good hands. I had to search extra hard to see his signature. For some reason I enjoy seeking and finding his signature on his covers/art.
  12. Wow, page 213 of the thread just took this thread up a few notches. Super nice copies presented by all My “somewhat” daily addition. Love the reds and the detail of the alien. This book filled the void of the 9.2 I regretted letting go of (mentioned earlier in the thread).
  13. Day 15 Late, but still made a post today. 👍🏻 Last issue for the title and the only Toledo I still own.
  14. You can always tell a great colored copy of this issue by looking at the teepees first. They are supposed to be orange. The Planet logo, the bad guys boots and the girls boots were planned to be red. Sometimes all of these are FH Orange. The bigger the difference in coloring from the teepees, the better the color strike. You sir have a nicely colored copy 👍🏻
  15. Day 14 Love the pterodactyl dragon on cover. Bonus inside cover page ad for Rangers. I like Rangers and this ad is super colorful.
  16. Flex, This book is so great in person, and from memory even more “red” than in the scan. You own a few of my old books and each and every one I regret letting go. Happy you have them though as I know you think they are equally as great as I do.
