I get that feeling with the later issues, like from 70 to 94. I know they're maybe not as well crafted as the mid sixties' issues, but I experienced them (in reprint form) as a kid.
Pure joy.

usa 5 is the bees knees for sure
Interesting that The Victory Boys double team Hitler while leaving an armed Mussolini alone. Guess they know that the pen is mightier than the sword.

Ahh...that's the stuff!

Very pretty books there, guys! Strange Tales 110 is just so cool.
-
Love those Suspenses! I still need a handful of those.

I'm glad the picture isn't too clear. That way I can continue to delude myself that my collection is adequate.
-
No, you're good. Just a self inflicted geek-check.

Were the photos were taken with the comics resting on the Crumb Bible?

You do good work! Great books!

#33 is to ASM as #51 is to FF.

My old copy.
That is just a mind blowing comic. You must miss it.

Keep that Sgt. Fury #100 safely in its slab. Bad read.

So you're the guy! You had a lot of pull back in the day, didn't you?

Me want! ME WANT!

The Gaines pedigree is the only one apart from the Church that holds any cashe with me. I'd love to own one someday. All the other peds are nice, but in every case I'd trade one for a prettier non-ped.

Really cool cluster. I'm thrilled with my low-grades, but you're pretty ones are very intriguing...

I was kind of wanting an option between "love SS" and "never". I personally don't do autographs, but I don't have anything against someone else getting one.

Phenominal copy!

Far out!

Probably true. While Marvel westerns may not ever be in demand like the hero books, I can see them hitting the pre-hero Marvel level.
.....the pre heros have Kirby and Ditko in almost every issue. I think that drives those prices. The westerns are still pretty neat, I like 'em. GOD BLESS...

Great point. I'll alter my statement to "Kirby westerns"!

I own a page of art from that ish. A real sentimental fav.

Glorious.
War, Humor and Sci-Fi are my favorite ECs, in that order.

Oh well, back to my mid-grade ECs...
I wish I had mid-grades.

My copy wants to be just like your copy when it grows up.
Pre- Hero Marvels!!!!

No pics, but today I got two issues closer on Tales Of Suspense! I picked up low grade copies of #11 and #20 for $50 total.
These days, there's no bigger comic rush for me than scoring a pre-hero Marvel.
