You're a machine!

I have a 5!
I had a TTA #4 in my hands once and was considering buying it, but Mr. Wallet apparently objected. Someday.
-
I don't recall having a very hard time tracking down my low-grade copy, but it's true that one doesn't see them often.
-
Except for the color palate, it really does.
Anyone know who inked it?
-
Heck, let's do 'em all!

.....this is probably the only thread on the boards where I can still see Kirby covers that I had never seen before......thanks for posting, John. GOD BLESS....

Once I complete the issues with Kirby interiors, I may broaden my want list to include comics with Kirby only on the covers. There's just such an appeal to these westerns. They seem almost undiscovered!
.....it really is. I've been nutz over Kirby for all my life, and it still amazes me how prolific he was.....like turning on the spiggot....GOD BLESS....

P.S. The preheros.....when I open up one I've never read the splashes just knock me off my seat....
Me, too. Some of the most impactful work ever done for comics.

I needs me a TTA 4. Needs, I tells ya!
-
Yeah, that's a monster! Well done!
-
The very first comic I ever bought was the Marvel Super-Heroes reprint of TTA 90.
I'll always love that book!
-
Those are great! The AA#1 is a real standout, but ST #95 will always be one of my faves.
-
I know what our poll said, but Tales To Astonish #29 has the best cover of any PHM. Astounding copy!
-
Yes you do! It's fun watching the process.
-
NICE!
The pre-hero thread is jumpin'!

Yes, I am a completist.
-
You can bring stuff like that around here anytime! Nice book!
-
That's 50 to 82, what I consider to be all the "pre-hero" issues.
I own a 49, and I suppose that could be included, but I'm prejudiced against it due to its lack of Kirby.

I promise, this is the last cross-post of this shot. I just can't leave it out of this thread.
-
I hope the Thor fans here can appreciate the pre-hero issues, too...

Pre-hero Journey Into Mysterys, here's the lot of 'em.

That is just spectacular. I salute you!
-
I think I just started to add these to my collecting focus.
Aw, it's going to be fun and you know it!
-
Those are some beauties, Rick!
However, I relate more to Soft-Serve's copies. (just like home!)
You won't regret jumping into the pre-hero pool, SS!

Thanks for the good wishes! I fear no Silver Age in the internet era, but ignorance is bliss.
I actually hope it takes a good long while, as I'm running out of affordable Kirby books to hunt and I need something on my want list!
