I like this post a lot.

120 is a great issue. Didn't know it was so tough in HG. Mine's a rag, of course.

Still need one of those. Nice!

I recently helped a friend complete his pre marvel set with the purchase of a JIM 54. It would probably be 9.0 but it has a long 5'" "shelf" of a pre marvel tear that is still firmly attached but would probably bring it down to a 7.5 or so. He's been collecting these since the mid 70's and picked up MANY high grade examples from Verzyl, Redbeard, etc. back when they could be had for less than 50 bucks. My point is, we had HUGE trouble finding a respectable copy....he didn't even have a Robert Bell VG. I'm curious as to which pre hero is the rarest in grade according to the rest of you. I'd definitely have to give JIM 54 my vote....and CGC has only certified one copy at 5.5. GOD BLESS...

JIM 52 was the toughest hold-out for me, but I'm not a high grade guy.

Wow! A new addition to the want-list!
On a very unrelated topic, I just scored a ragged copy of Action #276, and was surprised to find not just Supergirl joining the Legion, but SIX 1st appearances in there.

I think EC's definitely had the best covers! And stories too.
I don't think there is one single bad New Trend cover.

Love Two Gun 60; a book whose time has come!

Beauties all!

Very nice; and as to the grade, I'll bet it's pretty high in the census!

That he do. WTTB!

100% readable. Surprisingly, none of the story is burned away.
Big margins on them old Showcases.

Stunned to have received a serious answer, he follows up...
What is the driving force of plate tectonics?

Dear Gator,
What will Captain America 1-10 be selling for in ten years?
-
I'll give you $40 for it, Doctor.

That is stupifying!

I bet that horse isn't a natural blonde.
Nice book, tho!

Yep. I'll put up a pic when I get it home, it's funny.
