Man daybeds and magenta futons...
Sounds like somebody's better half is not so much allowing a comic room as comprimising on the decor of the guest room.
I can't talk, though. If we get pregnant, my Comicland is history. Great spaces, folks.

BTW- How does he get his billy club to bounce off three walls and have enough juice to still knock someone silly.
Pressure points.

I think I'll go burn my comics now.

Got a few...and I do!

The later issues really are neat, and you know how much fun the pre-heroes are!
I'm on too tight a budget to ever run with the high grade pack. I'd have to give up some cherished books to swing it, or stockpile money for months. (It's no fun to go a year without buying something. Also, I'm afraid I'd convince myself that the money would be better spent elsewhere) So what's left for me at this point is under $100 comics. No problem! I still need tons of pre-hero Marvels, not to mention the Lee/Kirby westerns I don't even know about yet!
Now that I think on it, once a Marvel guy completes his hero runs, where else is he going to go? Even the highest of rollers would be tempted if a beautiful, CGC run of pre-hero Strange Tales were to present themselves, wouldn't he?

Great, under-appreciated books!
If you're still open to suggestions, I recommend collecting Strange Tales from #67 to 168, including of course, those amazing annuals!

Picked up a JiM 83 the other day. It's low grade, but I have never owned one before. Pretty cool.
Nice looking low grade copy. Very cool! I think JIM 83 is my favorite non-FF key.

Congrats!
I'm fairly happy with my FF run, but there may not be a single 9.4 in the lot. Nothin' low about 'em!

These are my top three Silver Age Dc Key.
1) Showcase #4
2) Showcase #22
3) Brave and the Bold #28
I inverted 2 and 3.

Showcase #22 is a big enough key that anyone reading this Silver forum should want a copy. Even Marvel guys like me. In my eyes, it's the #3 SA D.C. key.

Wow! Pretty, pretty book.

I distinctly remember the first 12-center I ever owned. I felt like I had a key to the Smithsonian.
-
Both copies are about 2 full grades higher than mine. Great books!

He shoots, he scores! Nice!
