  1. No, CGC doesn't work with you to get a better grade. They won't tell you if you do or don't need the pressing even if you've paid for it, but I heard they sometimes will contact you if they think it could damage a book (someone can prob confirm if true or not). They sometimes offer grading notes after grading for some of the books with lower grades (but not always). There is an option to have them prescreen them for certain grades with a fee for rejected comics. As far as the tier to submit, most will say to go with what you feel you are comfortable with for insurance purposes (how much would it cost you to replace that book if it were damaged or lost?).
  2. If you're having the issues I'm having with the mobile version of the site, you have to wait for the eeeentire page (including any and all images) to load before you can click on anything including the menu/notification icon/link in the corner to open up PMs.
  3. Recently had another positive experience. Great deals on accurately graded comics. Thanks again!
  4. What was the name? The listing is gone…
  5. I realize I have no dog in this but it utterly baffled me when I saw that…presumably a backlog of stuff (or maybe just that single book?) sat for that long and a decision was made to take on more work? And meanwhile, books submitted after 2014 are presumably getting worked on and sent back? I just don’t get it…. (Edit: and yes, I realize some books may be easier and quicker to work on than others, but still…almost 10 years…)
  6. But that’s..that’s nearly a decade…and it still wasn’t done?
  7. Will they start offering tubes of polish with every slab now? Or free tube with every submitted ME. Better yet, brand their own Slab Polish™️ and sell it or offer it as a cheaper alternative to MEs. Someone get on it!
