  1. Might want to check the rules. Don't think having multiple sales threads under a single sub-forum is allowed.
  2. You also don’t have to use their shipping boxes and materials.
  3. Can’t recall exactly, but I thought I saw Big Time Collectibles had their own in-house CGC witnesses…
  4. Is it doing the thing where you have to click back a few times to get to the previous page? I noticed it happens occasionally on the desktop site (PC via MS Edge), so I have to hold on to the back button to get the drop-down list of previous pages and just manually select it from the list. The mobile version (iPhone via Safari) is almost unusable with how slow everything takes to load...
  5. Agree about when the error occurred, but just a little confused on when it was corrected by CGC. The Grade Date is today's date, and the owner posted it last nightish (found it on igram). Did CGC see the post, so they corrected the record? So many questions...
  6. Did they just correct it on their end? Like today? (Unless the guy really was a time traveler)
  7. I have better luck calling them or posting in the Ask CGC forum.
  8. Welp, looks like no one bit for $10k...so back to ebay for a starting bid of $800. He probably should have taken the $200...
  9. If the comic is worth more than $400, then go with the High Value tier. If you select a lower tier and CGC determines it's worth more, they'll charge you for the higher tier (but they don't reimburse if you select a high tier and it's worth lower). It's mainly for insurance purposes. How much do you think the raw book is worth if it's damaged or lost (i.e., how much will it cost to replace it)?
  10. Might try calling them else you might post in the Ask CGC forum. They usually respond there on weekday mornings.
  11. Yes, most folks use their own boxes and materials to pack and ship for submissions.
  12. From his sales thread: “I'm asking $10,000, but I imagine I'll end up taking a best offer considerably lower. At any rate, first one to 'take it' at $10,000 gets it, if it happens that way.“
  13. With all the random stuff being slabbed with the books lately, maybe they’re testing encapsulating posters, cards, COAs, hairs, random scraps of paper, etc. that are submitted with books.
  14. Interesting….Seller (board member) canceled a sale because he found out from another CGC thread that his book was potentially rare. He now has it listed in the Copper/Modern sale forum for 50 times what he had it on ebay. Others’ thoughts?
  15. Got some great deals on some cool books. Arrived safely and securely. Thanks!
  16. ahh yes, the eBay blue light special layaway plan....
  17. Take these two as well for 30% off (not sure if you also got my previous darkwing duck take)
  18. An antique flea market store? edit: he mentioned an antique mall previously in this thread
