  1. Most folks order directly (via phone). https://www.egerber.com/catalog_mylites2.htm Amazon might have some but marked up. I’ve also seen some on ebay for lower than amazon but higher than direct (though not sure if they have the size you need).
  2. If I submitted for prescreen and added pressing, do they press before the prescreen? I'm assuming they would press it first but wanted to make sure.
  3. Pressing can be added before grading. You just have to click on pressing with the grading. Only thing in your case is you may have to do two submissions. One submission is the 9 graded without the pressing, and the second submission is the 2 graded with the pressing. I don’t think the system lets you pick and choose to press some and not others. It’s the entire submission or none. Edit: what @revat said
  4. The stores that sold the newsstand comics returned the unsold copies to the publisher or distributor. They would get reimbursed/refunded for the unsold stock. The consumer didn’t/can’t return it for a refund.
  5. Signature Series events are usually open to those without a paid membership.
  6. It may take weeks for them to log it in when they get busy. A couple of months or so ago, it took about a full week. It really varies depending on how busy they are. During con season, it can take longer. And now with the upcoming price changes, folks are anticipating a backlog of submissions before the price increase…hang in there. You can try to contact them if anything…
  7. Had a similar question in the Ask CGC forum. I had submitted it as a Mark Jeweler but it wasn’t logged as such (by CCS). They said it would be reviewed and corrected during grading. However, if the QA topic/thread is any indication, they may just miss/ignore it and not correct it. So short answer to your question: graders will supposedly catch and correct it, but they might not.
  8. I had submitted a comic as a Mark Jewelers edition (CGC2071574020) but noticed how it was received and logged into the system doesn’t indicate that. Is that normal? (I saw a copy of the same comic graded with the MJ notation on ebay. It was graded in 2021.)
  9. Only found a scan of one issue: https://fanac.org/fanzines/Potrzebie/
  10. I think the system/site may be down. My current submission as well as my past ones within the past few months aren’t showing up.
  11. Tried to google the names and the three appeared for a 2007 FCBD signing in Chicago. A bing search pulled up “ORIGINAL JIM TERRY ART: PAGE ONE OF BLEAKEST! 11X17" COMIC PAGE!” on worthpoint but I don’t have an account to get any details (https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/original-jim-terry-art-page-one-461315944).
  12. Accurate grading, good deal, well packaged, and quick shipping. Thanks!
  13. You can probably submit for a mechanical error. You can email them, call them, or post in the Ask CGC forum for more info or details on the process (or if it applies for the ME submission). @CGC Mike @MattM CS
  14. I renewed my premium membership a couple of months ago and used my credit from then already. But if I upgrade to elite membership, do I get another $150 credit to my account?
  15. Great experience…good communication..great prices and accurate grading. Very well packaged and arrived quickly and safely. Thanks!
