  1. the 4 spider-man books (just add to my previous takes, please)
  2. Couldn’t find the video, but your description reminds me of the evangelist/preacher from a while ago who was trying to raise money for a bunch of private jets to “do God’s work”
  3. trickinkix-7 Bidder won an auction but never paid. I sent reminders and queries asking to complete the purchase, but I never got a peep. Eventually canceled the transaction for non-payment.
  4. I think someone just asked something similar recently. Not sure they would hold it, but could probably ask them to make sure.
  5. You can still see all the scuff marks on that slab...but no newton rings?
  6. I read somewhere on these boards (or maybe it was on another) that even a new comic straight from the publisher typically isn't any better than maybe a VF/NM to NM range, especially for modern era books. DId you get it pressed?
  7. I’ve noticed it’s been taking them a little less than a week to log submissions into the system lately. So yours will probably get updated in a few days. A year ago, it was taking almost a month or so when they had a backlog.
  8. If there was insurance on the package, you or the seller might be able to file a claim for the value.
  9. Speaking of milking it, was on ebay and saw a couple of comp copies of a bleeding-S blue foil variant that’s supposedly yet-to-be-released (different from the regular yellow-and-red S, blue-foiled one that BTC released a few months ago).
  10. Still unclear here...Are you looking for a comic book title? Or are you trying to find an image of a comic book?
  11. Someone with more experience may chime in with more details, but pressing can't fix color breaks (those white marks you've circled). And while cleaning sometimes go hand in hand with pressing services, I don't think pressing itself is cleaning. Some stains may require more involved techniques (if they can be removed at all). (Axe beat me to it)
  12. No issues on my side (I'm on the app)
  13. What inventory are you wanting to add it to? The CGC census? The CGC registry?
  14. I think those are the Archive bags by E.Gerber (who make Mylites).
  15. I think they meant to say 450.74 grams (15.9 oz). But I still wasn't sure what the issue was either...also not sure of a significant price difference if at all for a package weighing 15.9 oz vs 11.8 oz.
  16. Maybe I'm totally off the mark, but the blurb about AI and "new internal technology system" and the increase in QC complaint issues piqued my curiosity knowing a lot of industries are looking at AI to try to cut corners on basic QA/QC functions....
  17. You can probably post your question in the spare a grade forum with pics and get some good estimates on a grade (https://boards.cgccomics.com/forum/42-hey-buddy-can-you-spare-a-grade/). (Just make sure you read the rules before posting.)
  18. To add, these companies also offer services to look at sigs on online auctions or sites for a small fee before you decide to bid on or buy something.
  19. What is the meaning of the asterisk to the left of a dollar sign, within an active auction? An asterisk will be displayed next to the price of a given auction lot within 5 days of the end date/time of an auction lot, if the current bid has not yet reached or exceeded the seller's reserve price. The asterisk next to the Current Bid price signifies that the price displayed is no longer an actual bid, but instead was raised automatically to one bid price beneath the seller's reserve amount. The asterisk next to the Minimum Bid price signifies that the next bid will hit the seller's reserve for the item From https://www.comiclink.com/service_text.asp?3424
