  1. Coincidentally, I just received an order yesterday that I placed with them a few weeks ago. I emailed them a week after not getting an order status update (website said it takes about a week for an order to ship if the item is in stock) and someone replied a couple of days after my email query saying that my order would ship soon, which it did. Did you email them from their email/ticket submission form on their website or directly to their order@stadiumcomics.com address? (I emailed them directly.)
  2. Honestly I'm not sure...I looked over some packing slips on my account and two appeared to be by pub dates. But on the third, the books weren't in any order that I could tell (not by declared value, alphabetical order, or pub date).
  3. Looks like it's from Superman #38 (1946). Check it out here: Read Superman (1939) Issue #38 Online - All Page (viewcomics.me)
  4. Looks like they have other listings as well...
  5. After you fill out the form, you'll print out the packing slip that lists the comics (and has your info on it) and include it with your shipment. Note that they want you to pack the comics in order shown on the slip that prints out (not how you input it into their online form). I haven't submitted any mag-sized stuff, so others may have tips. CGC has some tips and a video for tips on packing/shipping: Shipping Kits Now Available for Mail-In Submissions | CGC (cgccomics.com).
  6. Thanks, @Jesse-Lee. I did the verification a week ago (more than 3 business days ago). Guess I'll try bugging them again...
  7. Sorry if this should go in a different forum/topic. I did a quick search and didn't see anything on here, but was wondering if anyone has had some issues with payouts recently. Have sold random raw comics and couple slabs on eBay the last couple of months with no issues with payouts. Last week sold a couple of slabs and I have funds available, but it's saying I have no upcoming payout and won't release my funds on my weekly schedule. Recently was sent an email to verify my info which I completed. eBay cs has been giving me the runaround on what the issue is (from telling me I need to verify info 9[had already done] to there is no issue with my account to it's a glitch with no current resolution). I've looked on eBay's community which suggests this has been ongoing for a lot of folks but cant seem to pin down what the fix or problem is/was. Anybody have this issue with payouts? (Meanwhile, I'm looking into MCS as I've heard a lot of positive experience with it from others.)
  8. My submission was charged when they started the grading process (I did a fast pass modern submission). Keep in mind the grading process didn't begin until weeks after they opened the package and then put into the system (when the submission could actually be tracked).
  9. Yeah, my package had arrived at CGC the first week of March, so when I saw they were opening packages the week of March 21, I called them. Turns out there was some mix up and the package was still sitting in their safe.
  10. Coincidentally, I submitted a slab for reholder service in early March that just got put into the system a few moments ago. I had gotten a slab from eBay that got damaged (similar to yours with a broken piece off the edge). Buyer gave me a partial refund for reholdering. Meanwhile, there was a bit of confusion, so had a delay on CGC putting it into the system. But it's in there now with a status of "Scheduled for Grading" which I assume is the default when it goes into their tracking system....
  11. I have a question about when things go into the system. The past two weeks, it said packages the week of Feb 21 were currently being opened, and then this week I see that packages delivered the week of March 7 are currently being opened. I'm guessing the week of the 28th would fall into this group (or it could be in the void somewhere). My submission for a re-holder service was delivered the week of Feb. 28th, but I still don't see my submission being tracked in the system. When does a submission usually go into tracking?
  12. Just briefly playing around with it, I can look up a comic and then add it to a list (in this case "My Comics" list under the "Comics I Own" heading). I can create other lists as well. When I add a comic, I can edit the info, such as grade, price, purchase date, etc. You can export/download your list as a CSV file.
  13. I've been looking as well. I typically use Go Collect to check graded values. It also lets you input your collection, but I haven't played around with this. Apparently there used to be a mobile app/database that had a contract with them but that's no longer the case. Makes me wonder if they're planning to roll out their own app. I've also used Comic Price Guide, which provides graded values and raw values (which I don't think Go Collect provides-anyone know?). CPG also let's you input your collection with the option to hide or let others view it. It has an iPhone app that I use (requires a membership/login to use but no phone number). Only thing about CPG is that it's so slow to load or look up values.
  14. I'll look into reholdering and getting the seller to refund that. Thanks for the quick replies!
  15. Hey, newbie here. Been trying to get a hold of old comics I used to collect/have when I was younger (kid says I'm going through a mid-life crisis). Anyway, I recently bought a slabbed copy of Excalibur (from ebay), and it was damaged in shipping (see pics). A couple of small pieces were randomly in the bagged slab in the box. I think it was mostly poor handling by the carrier who has a tendency to just toss things onto my porch). Refund is out of the question at this point. So question is: Am I able to send it in for reholder or do I need to resubmit?
