8.5 is the sweet spot for me. Great looking book for a great price.

Yeah when I saw the book and price it was right in my wheel house. I was going to send my copy in for grading. I bought it from a LCS years ago but when I took it out to get it ready to ship off it was in lower grade then I remembered.  I just love it how I remember books in my collection being sweeter then they actually are.doh!

  3. Prize #20  Donated by Shark  Here's my donation for the cause.  Shipping is included in USA.

10 nice raw Marvel Comics - Amazing Spider-Man #362 (2nd Carnage), Iron Man #169 (1st Jim Rhodes Iron Man), Iron Man #302 (Venom appearance), ROM #75 (last issue), Secret Wars II #5 (1st Boom-Boom), Thor #412 (1st full New Warriors), Web of Spider-Man #1 (classic Charles Vess cover), X-Force #8, X-Force #15 (early Deadpool cover) and X-Force #19 (1st Copycat).

  4. I'm half way through working out a modern submission I got sidetracked on some other things. The above books have been graded and are just awaiting to finish up the process hopefully they will be back in a couple of weeks.  Oh and all my graded books that I own have been entered into my registry. I think I'm on page nine

My wife encourage all of it and more! She just said it's now time to chill a bit. And then today eating out at lunch she said, "If it's above 1k we have to talk about it, lower then that go ahead!"

Miller HG newsstand run, look out.

So it looks like the ultimatum was lifted somewhat. When people go in full blown buying frenzies it kind of reminds me of the bull story.  I try to pace myself like an old bull in the comic pasture and get as much as possible. Slow and steady.

There are two bulls standing on a hill overlooking a pasture full of cows. The younger bull, eager, but lacking experience, says to the old bull “Hey, let’s run down there and !@#+ ourselves a cow.” The old bull, who has spent season after season in this pasture, turns to the younger bull, chuckles, and replies “Nah, how about we walk down there, and !@#+ them all.”

Nice to see a 12th, these are like Doctor Whos now lol.

Any idea where it originated? A few have come from Florida.

I'm in California and I actually don't remember when I bought the book. I'm sure i didn't buy it for any other reason then to have a Batman 457 in my run.  I buy stuff on the boards ,Ebay , online dealers , local shows and shops so it could have come from anywhere.
