Up for sale are the books below graded under CGC's Signature Series label. The usual rules apply. PMs and offers are welcome, but the first in this thread controls. Priority mail shipping for U.S. addresses is $15 + $2 for each additional book, and is included for orders over $500. Insurance is optional. International rates are available upon request. Check back often, as I will periodically be adding additional books to this sales thread. PayPal, money orders and checks are welcome. If you pay by money order or check and I don't know you or somebody that can vouch for you, I'll wait about 10 days after the money order or check has been deposited to make sure it clears. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures #1 SS CGC 9.8 signed and sketch by Kevin Eastman $800

Yep. A 3-book no press and an 18-book with press. -
Fan Expo Dallas 2022 Comic Con With Pics.

I was there with my daughter, and we mostly did panels and the photo ops. I was shocked at some of the prices I saw on comics when I was doing some window shopping; it seemed that the grades should have been higher to justify those prices. -

Hands down, Michael Rooker had the best Q&A I have ever attended. Not only was he engaging and hilarious, but he took the Q&A to the people, with no shortage of hugs! -
Jim Lee signing for a book he's already signed /w COA

Unless things have changed, I thought that as a technical matter, tracing over an unwitnessed sig was not permitted under CGC policy for purposes of a "universal" (i.e., not Qualified) SS label. You might be able to find a witness that will allow it, but they're not supposed to. -
Any in particular? Marvels Project #1 blanks seem to do very well.

Also, based on the picture above, the "window" did not have a clear outline, and perhaps Bagley did not feel comfortable doing a sig, remarque and "To Sam" when he needed to pay such close attention to the border. Masking/painters tape is a must when you make your own window bag. Never use a marker, as it can rub off onto the comic (as I learned the hard way).

My RDJ books. I knew even with a press the Invincible Iron Man would not be a 9.8, but I still went with it because I thought it was a great cover.

Is CCS the only pressing company allowed for SS books?

CFP (@ joeypost) can also press SS books. -
Bogus turnaround estimates for private signings?
somewhereintexas replied to scburdet's topic in The Signature Room
FT modern (including SS not done through an in house signing) has an estimated TAT of 48 business days right now. That is over 9 weeks. The TAT for in house signings is 6 weeks. And FT modern pressing has an estimated TAT of 173 days. So if you have a book that you would like to have pressed, there is a huge incentive to find an in house signing to get it done. Plus, if you have multiples of a book and really only wanted one or two signed and the rest blue label, you still might get them all signed so that you don't have to wait so long to get them back. -
Bogus turnaround estimates for private signings?

And these TATs are precisely why the TATs for regular submissions are suffering. Everything else gets pushed back so they can keep to the stated TATs for in house signings. Would the submissions for in house signings suffer much if they were put on a level playing field with regular submissions? I can't imagine that they would, and even if they did, they would probably more than make up for it with regular submissions that folks aren't sending in right now because the TATs are so ridiculous. -
George Perez last signing suspended indefinitely

Anyone besides me that submitted books and is still waiting on the e-mail from CGC with the options on what to do with the books?
