  1. Ah. I didn’t know that, thanks. Guess I haven’t done a prescreen in a while. I have one in now and will look for that when the hit QC. And if you're really obsessive and check regularly, you might catch the prescreen results even before the submission gets to QC.
  2. But it can be done with a little help from my friends (thanks @joeypost).
  3. Presale going on for SS CGC 9.8 copies of the movie variant cover of Captain Marvel #1 signed by Brie Larson
  4. This is a PRESALE for the movie variant cover of Captain Marvel #1 signed by Captain Marvel herself, actress Brie Larson, and graded 9.8 by CGC under its Signature Series label. The usual rules apply. Five (5) total copies are available. In terms of timing, the copies will be signed at ACE Midwest 10/11 - 10/13 and submitted for fast track grading afterwards. I will be using blue label 9.8 copies for this signing and will be having more than five copies signed, so grade should not be an issue, but in the unlikely event I don't receive enough 9.8 copies to fill all orders, buyers will be offered the choice of a full refund or a lower grade copy at a reduced price. Likewise, if Brie Larson's appearance is canceled, any buyers will be provided a full refund. A "Captain Marvel" remark or personalization may be added for $75. Priority mail shipping and insurance to U.S. addresses is included. International rates are available upon request. PayPal, money orders and checks are welcome. Captain Marvel #1 Movie Variant CGC 9.8 signed by Brie Larson $450
  5. Ironically, I couldn't find any 9.8 candidates of the color version, which is why I ended up going with the sketch cover.
  6. The first one is definitely the only SS 9.8 in the census. I can't even find the census for the second book, so until proven otherwise I'm going to say it is the only SS 9.8 as well.
  7. The short answer is no, but if JSA is there, @YEPITSME might be able to help.
  8. I could speculate as to the answer, but if you call customer service they should be able to tell you how to do this if you don't have any Signature Series submission forms handy.
  9. Some recent additions. Always nervous about cracking the first one out, but decided it was worth the risk to add "Superman" A surprise crossover moment on the second one. I asked Jack Dylan Grazer to add "Freddy," but I guess because most people at the show were more familiar with his role as "Eddie" in "it," that's what he was used to writing and wasn't even paying attention to what he was signing. I think the last one might press up to 9.8.
  10. 18 book Modern Signature Series (not FT) Submitted 5/5/19 at Fan Expo Dallas Received 5/11/19 Scheduled for Grading 5/31/19 Grading/Quality Control 6/4/19 Finalized/Imaged/Shipped 6/7/19 Not counting Memorial Day or the Friday of Megacon as business days, 17 business days by my count, so a little bit faster than the current estimated TAT. But estimated TATs are a little misleading right now because of the delay between delivery and "received/scheduled for grading."
  11. If they are, then he'd better create a new thread ing about it, and proclaiming that he's "never submitting again!"
  12. Being your first submission, were the grades lower, higher or about what you expected?
  13. Based on the submissions I've tracked in my account, if the submission form was completed online, that submission does not appear in the system until it has been "verified" and goes straight to "Scheduled for Grading." The status never is "Received." If the submission form was completed manually (as is the case for all Signature Series submissions), the submission initially will appear in the system as "Received" with no detailed information available as to the particular items, and does not move to "Scheduled for Grading" until the contents of the submission have been "verified." This is more like the old system when "Scheduled for Grading" usually was a signal that grading was imminent. When counting days, keep in mind that "the Fridays before a major convention are not counted as business days for submission processing," which is why I did not count the Friday of Megacon.
  14. 11 book FT Modern Signature Series Submitted 5/5/19 at Fan Expo Dallas Received 5/13/19 Scheduled for Grading 5/24/19 Grading/Quality Control 5/29/19 Finalized/Imaged/Shipped 6/1/19 If you include the Friday of Megacon and Memorial Day as non-business days, then by my count right at the 13 business days currently listed as the estimated TAT for FT modern.
  15. Just one book for sale, but it's a biggie--a Captain America sketch by Gene Colan on an Avengers #1 2nd print blank. Books like this don't come up for sale too often.
  16. Just one book this time, a Gene Colan Captain America sketch on an Avengers #1 2nd print blank. The usual rules apply. PMs and offers are welcome, but the first in this thread controls. Priority mail shipping and insurance to U.S. addresses is included. International rates are available upon request. PayPal, money orders and checks are welcome. If you pay by money order or check and I don't know you or somebody that can vouch for you, I'll wait about 7 days after the money order or check has been deposited to make sure it clears. Avengers #1 2nd Print Blank CGC 9.6 signed and Captain America sketch by Gene Colan $1,750
  17. Chris Evans is scheduled for ACE Seattle at the end of June. If you check SigSeries Event Central you can find which facilitators are accepting books. As far as I know, Brie Larson does not have any appearances scheduled.
  18. Since the book is SS, it should go without saying that it should be left in the slab when sending it in, even if it's not going to be screened.
  19. @Kevin Boyd, does this really mean no SS or similar authentication, or are we on our honor not to submit the book for grading of any kind (such as a qualified label)?
  20. Is it just me, or has PayPal taken down the May 7 Policy Update? When I use the web address at the top of this thread, the link in the e-mail I received from PayPal and the link going through "Legal" at the bottom of the PayPal webpage, in each case the March 29 Policy Update is all I see.
  21. The ASM #129 was already included. I would also add an ASM 194 for $1.
