  1. Took me a while to get these scanned. Hopefully there will be another signing with Natalie Portman so I can add her, as I didn't even realize there had been one until after it happened.
  2. My Cates books shipped yesterday (maybe I missed the interim steps, but they seemed to go straight from "Scheduled for Grading" to "Shipped"). Judging from the label, Cates signed on 2/21/22 (it would have been much cooler if they had done the signing a day later).
  3. While window bags are required, there is not a particular window bag that is required to be used. You can make your own with a window exactly where you want the book to be signed, with the rest of the book covered. Just be sure to leave enough room for a decent-sized sig. It's helpful to see examples of the sig in judging the size of window to leave.
  4. Pretty sure this won't be the case for long, but for now the only 9.8 SS copies of these books.
  5. I feel like this one is a candidate for the Perfect Signature Placement thread as well.
  6. CGC's status explanations below. My take is that "Received" is simply an acknowledgment that a submission with a particular submission number is in CGC's possession. At this point, the individual books in the submission have not been "verified," and on the submission tracking page the submission number is black and you cannot get any more details. In my experience, pretty much the only submissions that ever are at "Received" (as opposed to "Received at CCS") are Signature Series that were submitted by a facilitator using a paper form and are not going to be pressed. Once the individual books have been "verified," the status moves to "Scheduled for Grading," and the submission number is red and you can click on the submission numbers for an itemization of the submission. At this point, the submission is in the "queue" to be graded, but for the in house signings, it really doesn't tell you whether the signing has occurred. It certainly does not mean that grading is imminent. While perhaps CGC could add a "Waiting to be Signed" status or something to that effect, my guess is that they decided not to do so because that would just slow down the process by adding another step that would divert resources that are already stretched beyond thin. Received / In Process The submitted collectibles have been counted and entered in CGC’s computer system along with the submitter information, submission date and requested service. If there are multiple tiers of service, the collectibles have been separated by tier of service. In the next step, a detailed description of each collectible will be entered in CGC’s computer system (a process commonly called “verification”). The collectibles will be separated from any paperwork that would identify the submitter and the submission will be prepared for grading. For comic book submissions only: If CCS services were requested, the submission will be routed to CCS and the CCS services will be completed first. Scheduled for Grading Each collectible has now been described in detail in CGC’s computer system and checked against the submitter’s descriptions. A unique identification number has been assigned to each collectible based on the submission form number and line item number. These identification numbers are printed on temporary holders and will be used to track each collectible throughout CGC’s grading process.
  7. Up for sale are the books below graded under CGC's Signature Series label. The usual rules apply. PMs and offers are welcome, but the first in this thread controls. Priority mail shipping for U.S. addresses is $15 + $2 for each additional book, and is included for orders over $500. Insurance is optional. International rates are available upon request. Check back often, as I will periodically be adding additional books to this sales thread. PayPal, money orders and checks are welcome. If you pay by money order or check and I don't know you or somebody that can vouch for you, I'll wait about 10 days after the money order or check has been deposited to make sure it clears. Moon Knight #1 SS CGC 9.8 signed by Bill Sienkiewicz $1,100
  8. Gunslinger Spawn #1 1:250 Variant SS CGC 9.8 signed and numbered (#1001) by Todd McFarlane $950
  9. Up for sale are some copies of the 1:250 variant cover of Gunslinger Spawn #1 graded under CGC's Signature Series label. The usual rules apply. PMs and offers are welcome, but the first in this thread controls. Priority mail shipping with signature confirmation for U.S. addresses is included. Insurance is optional. International rates are available upon request. PayPal, money orders and checks are welcome. If you pay by money order or check and I don't know you or somebody that can vouch for you, I'll wait about 10 days after the money order or check has been deposited to make sure it clears. Gunslinger Spawn #1 1:250 Variant SS CGC 9.6 signed and numbered (#59) by Todd McFarlane $750 Uber low number. I've looked at this several times, and can't figure out why it's a 9.6. Maybe a good candidate for CPR if you have more patience than I do with the current TATs.
  10. Were your books pressed? Mine were, and have been sitting at SFG since 10/27. On the other hand, I had some other books that were submitted separately that were pressed, moved to SFG on 10/5 and shipped on 10/28.
  11. Now we know the signing has happened, but not when. It really would be helpful if CGC would post when the signings have been completed. Then again, it would be easier to hold them to the promised TATs if the signing dates could readily be determined.
  12. @DarthChewie Has this signing happened? On September 9, CGC posted on Facebook that Sienkiewicz "was going to be signing books this week," but I have not seen anything since.
