Up for sale are the sketches below graded under CGC's Signature Series label. The usual rules apply. PMs and offers are welcome, but the first in this thread controls. Priority mail shipping with signature confirmation for U.S. addresses is included. Insurance is optional. International rates are available upon request. Check back often, as I will periodically be adding additional sketches to this sales thread. PayPal, money orders and checks are welcome. If you pay by money order or check and I don't know you or somebody that can vouch for you, I'll wait about 10 days after the money order or check has been deposited to make sure it clears. Avengers #1 Second Print SS CGC 9.6 signed and sketched by Gene Colan $1,800

It took a while because of Covid, but I was able to add Catherine O'Hara with the help of Official Pix.

That to me is key, and I would be surprised if McFarlane, Image, Diamond and the printer were not contractually obligated to destroy all unsigned copies. If the only copies available are ones that a CGC rep witnessed being signed, it's hard to imagine a circumstance in which a counterfeit copy or a forged COA could make it through CGC undetected. You don't even really need to worry about forged signatures, because all the available copies are already signed and witnessed. It's a whole different matter if unsigned copies end up surfacing.

Posted these in the Kudos thread and just now noticed the Star Wars thread. Almost 15 years in the making, and more than 8 years since the last time the books were signed. I have been trying to add Harrison Ford for quite a while. Sadly, all of the signers were still alive the last time these books were signed, and five have passed since then.

Signature Series KUDOS Thread... You know the deal
somewhereintexas replied to Pirate's topic in The Signature Room
Kudos to @Kevlar for making these two books, which are almost 15 years in the making (with almost 9 years since the last signature), possible. Hard to believe that my older daughter, who is now 28, was barely a teenager when I started these, and my younger daughter, who is now 24, was in the single digits. I probably should hold my tongue, but very irritated with Harrison Ford's pricing for this signing, as a book that had more than three signatures already was about 50% more than if he were the first one to sign the book. What particularly rubs me the wrong way about this is that I submitted these two books as send-ins for Celebrity Authentics' first signing with Harrison Ford years ago, and he refused to sign any of the comics that were sent in. At this point, unless I can somehow get George Lucas or James Earl Jones, I think these two are done being signed. Very sad to think that five of the signers are no longer with us. -

Doesn't seem right that if you just want a refund instead of committing to an event for which you're unsure of the guest lineup that you get stuck with the service fees.

For now the prohibition is only for a week. They should still cancel, but it gives them a little bit of wiggle room to hold off.

Check with Scott's Collectables. -
I was able to add Zoe Saldana to this with the help of @YEPITSME. Unfortunately, CGC didn't add her to the label, so I need to send it back to be corrected.

There are only paper submission forms for Signature Series, so whoever it is won't be completing forms electronically.
