    Let's make this clear. If the preview is original story, it can be a 1st appearance. If the preview is taken from upcoming book, it is an ad. Hence, you have to read the books.

    Hi just following up, The reason why I ask because when one searches Ultimate Comics Spider-man 1. The 2011 version doesn't show in the results.

    In 2017, I was told this exact same thing when I paid $1375 for a 9.8 UF4 variant. Last one sold yesterday at $8950.
