  1. Richie Rich #244 CPV (Oh yeah..... this is a copper book BTW)
  2. Hi everyone, I'm Tim! Well I'm pretty new here too! Joined the CS in 07 but have only been on the boards since August 2013. I have been collecting since I was in my early teens and.... aw you all know the rest of the story, it's been repeated on here a dozen times already My main focus has been Richie Rich with Star Wars being a close second! I fell in love with the Valiant books of the 90's but lost interest after they let Jim go! Haven't been able to board the wagon this go round but I am happy to see Valiant charging the comic book scene again! It's been a great experience and I hope to remain an active participant! Thanks to all that have been so supportive and welcoming! Cheers! Tim
  3. Nice books! And thankfully the yellow mailer was undamaged. And hey Richie Rich books! My favourite! Welcome to the boards!
  4. This is not a silver age thread. Please just start a Canadian Price Variant thread in the Silver Age section. This book has nothing to do with the copper age. Really Columbo?
  5. I believe this is more of the Silver Age but it is as far as I know very rare. In fact I have never seen another one but if anyone else has I would hope that you would post it here! Richie Rich Dollars & Cents First Issue (1963) 35 cent Canadian Price Variant. It's not in the best of condition but it is one of the most rare of the Canadian Price Variants.
  6. Still counting and still scanning but somewhere around 4400 at the present.
  7. Thanks Tim! Yes you are correct! And I just love looking at all the other rooms in awe!
  8. So I've never posted my comic book room before and since I'm getting ready for a move I thought I might snap some memories and share them while I'm at it. I know it's not your typical "super hero" room but it's what I enjoyed most growing up and I'm just happy to share it with you! Thanks for letting me share!
  9. Oh so very cool to see the whole set! Gotta remember that the CDN $ fell close to $.69 American back in the late 80's and early 90's. And then to almost $.60 in early 2002. Historical data shows that from the time of the first issue to the second issue of this series the dollar tumbled falling almost .05 against the American greenback in just one month. That most likely explains the changeover on the .60 cover price to the then .75 Canadian cover price. Really cool set of books though! (thumbs u
