  1. This is not a silver age thread. Please just start a Canadian Price Variant thread in the Silver Age section. This book has nothing to do with the copper age. Really Columbo?
  2. I believe this is more of the Silver Age but it is as far as I know very rare. In fact I have never seen another one but if anyone else has I would hope that you would post it here! Richie Rich Dollars & Cents First Issue (1963) 35 cent Canadian Price Variant. It's not in the best of condition but it is one of the most rare of the Canadian Price Variants.
  3. Still counting and still scanning but somewhere around 4400 at the present.
  4. Thanks Tim! Yes you are correct! And I just love looking at all the other rooms in awe!
  5. So I've never posted my comic book room before and since I'm getting ready for a move I thought I might snap some memories and share them while I'm at it. I know it's not your typical "super hero" room but it's what I enjoyed most growing up and I'm just happy to share it with you! Thanks for letting me share!
  6. Oh so very cool to see the whole set! Gotta remember that the CDN $ fell close to $.69 American back in the late 80's and early 90's. And then to almost $.60 in early 2002. Historical data shows that from the time of the first issue to the second issue of this series the dollar tumbled falling almost .05 against the American greenback in just one month. That most likely explains the changeover on the .60 cover price to the then .75 Canadian cover price. Really cool set of books though! (thumbs u
  7. No, neither, but I'm a huge small press fan (and I do like beer every now and then). (thumbs u
  8. Sweet! Have you ever been to Oktoberfest in Kitchener or Munich?
  9. Here's a purely Canadian Comic book that every comic book collector should be aware of. I grew up in Kitchener, Ontario. My first "real" comic book store was the Now & Then Books on Queen Street in downtown Kitchener. The Harry Kremer Retailer Award is named after the late Harry Kremer, who was the original owner of Now & Then Books in Kitchener, Ontario. I grew up surrounded by Harry and his staff (including Dave Sim) and Harry's mother who used to bring tea and cookies to the really good customers on some of the colder winter days. Any way just wanted to show case a really wonderful Canadian first in comics. Hope you enjoy it as much I as I did coming across it in my collection again for the first time in about 20 years. I may re-post this somewhere else more appropriate but I couldn't resist.
