  1. Great looking display Colicab! Hope you get a nice setup in the new place. I have just moved as well and I am still "decorating". Hope to have some new pics soon. You should post your new "area" too once you've gotten settled!

  6. Very cool! Never seen anything like them before! Are they valuable? I find nothing listed in the OCBPG. Congrats on the find!
  7. Wonderful collection and a great display of your treasures!
  8. This is a guide for noobs - nothing more, nothing less. Please don't make it a discussion thread. Thank you. That why I used "NOOBS" in my response! JK I hear yah! Nice job with this thread btw!
  9. Called 'Pot calling the Kettle Black' demonstrated by your defensive response with a good dose of hyperbole. And if you'd bothered to read the thread I wasn't the person attacked, so nice try. I read the thread before I posted what I did. You just whined a lot. JC had it right the first time. Your post history contains the following: Grade my books for me, I want to buy your books but I'm not going to respond to you, and whining. The trifecta of uselessness. First ad hominems then misrepresentation, followed by more hyperbole. 1. Is anyone forcing you to grade books for them? 2. How do you know that I didn't respond, unless you're working for the NSA & you're hacking into my email account? You're the very definition of 'whining' as you can't stand it when posters don't worship you & stroke your ego and then you feel threatened by them & in turn defend those that respond with ad hominems. And you're definitely feeling threatened given your need to go and check my posting history. As for whining, while I acknowledge that this thread began with some highly useful suggestions, some of it has been hijacked by those 'whining' about so-called 'noobs'. As I said above: That really gave me a good laugh! Total hypocrisy demonstrated by your very own defensive response with a good dose of hyperbole i.e. one thread=numerous. And if you'd bothered to read the thread I wasn't the person attacked, so nice try. Judging by the other obsequious responders that also feel threatened, I'm guessing there may be quite a few on this board that aren't in for respectful discussions by those that don't worship their post totals or take their 'opinions' as gospel. On that note a quick question, do you hand out merit badges every time someone reaches 1000 posts or more? Hey but thanks guys it's the biggest laugh I've had this weekend as it reminds me so much of primary school:) I have to side with Carey here. I don't think many of us necessarily take into consideration the harm that can be done when you "attack" someone on these boards, even if it is unintentional. I think for the most part we should take the opportunity to get to know the people here with the respect that everyone deserves regardless of their "status". It seems to be so non-existent in the world these days. I don't understand the need for one to be disrespectful of another just because you can do so anonymously? Are you like that in person? Sure I don't get along with everybody but I do pay respect regardless. I have noticed how some remarks or comments can be disparaging but not just for NOOBS. And just because someone speaks out about this topic is no reason to jump all over them. Just my thoughts!
