    I received an artist proof from a retailer recently. It has the typical initials printed on the bottom corner. However, next to the printed initials, they chose to write the AP's number in sharpie. Would them numbering the APs detract from the book getting a blue label?

    Well ahead of the 6-8 week turnaround, since he only signed last month. Bizarre, but I noticed some of my submissions that were close to deadline are getting processed sooner than the ones I submitted first. Wonder what the rhyme/reason is, or maybe it's pressing.

    Might be a lucky grade, but the case looks real. Why would someone waste their effort to make a fake case for SIKTC when they could do it with a key from 30-60 years ago?

    Protection looks pretty iffy, but easier to pack/unpack. Feel bad for the employees unpacking our messes of bubble wrap.

    I had a 10.0 where they labeled the artist wrong... Went for the gamble and sent it for reholder. Should get it back in a few days, we'll see how that went... Looks like they updated the census with the correct name.

    You can send them together. The form shows which books are resubmitted, so it won't be a problem.

    I submitted about 10. Some of the ones I submitted last minute were marked received on the 17-20th. As long as the package was delivered by cutoff it's my understanding they will process it. I'm sending 3 to the McFarlane signing tomorrow.

    Had me paranoid, as well. It does seem like they input the books for signings closer to the cutoff, so some of mine took 1-2 weeks to show up. Looks like Campbell is a few days into signing already.

    I had some Campbells that didn't show up on the panel until a couple days ago. Cutoff for his was on the 9th.

    @CGC Mike Got 2 freshly graded back today... both had hair or some sort of plant fiber inside. Bad luck.

    It's intended, no reason they wouldn't be okay with that. Just specify the return address after selecting options.

    I was looking to send a book in for private signing, but it's in the competing company's holder (not my submission)... If I leave a note on the packing slip can CGC remove the book from the competing company's holder and get it signed/regraded?

    At worst they say no, or offer to meet in the middle. As long as your offer is not >30-40% off FMV, many are happy to accommodate or go for an immediate sell.

    If you don't mind the gimmicks, there's some sellers and cover artists on Whatnot. As long as you cover shipping, majority will send international.
