  1. Received a 9.8 from someone else, book looks pretty good except for slight indent/slant on the spine around the staple. Is this considered a production defect? Slab seems otherwise intact.
  2. Forget where, but someone mentioned a signer got hand sanitizer on their book... It happens.
  3. Almost looks like Frank Miller? He scribbles.
  4. Didn't post mine here. Had this happen on a 3rd party, outer well was pretty tight. Reholdered through Mechanical Error..
  5. Just sent one in for this too, haha. Are hairnets out of the question?
  6. Pretty fast. A 10 no less... Modern (Fast Track): Shipped, 8/29/22 Delivered, 8/31/22 Received, 9/6/22 GEI, 9/9/22 Grading/QC, 9/12/22 Shipped, 9/13/22
  7. Returning collector, but my older slabs never did this. I guess my main question was how much wiggle is too much wiggle? The irony is that one of the wiggly slabs was one I just got back from ME (hair in holder).
  8. A lot of the signings end up costing $100+, paying an extra $0.52 for a pre-cut sleeve isn't going to result in homelessness.
  9. About an inch or so around the edge is covered, so you get less choice in where they sign. Works if you're lazy and don't need them to sign near the edges. $12 for 20 isn't bad.
  10. Thankfully it's just the inner well. Haven't bumped it enough to check.
  11. Was taking inventory earlier and I noticed about 30-40% of my post-2018 slabs have some form of loose inner well. If tilted to the side, I can see the inner well wiggle around 1mm or so. Has this become the norm for encapsulation, in lieu of Newton Rings? Not sure if it's worth sending any back if it's likely they'll come back the same or worse. Worried about possibility of damage during transport, as well.
  12. Bought McFarlane's Spiderman #1 (9.8). Quick transaction, packaged great, and exactly as described!
  13. I'm curious where the actual line is on what they will/won't authenticate. There's some Counterpoint/Indie comics with nudity that are on the registry, so I'm assuming the line is when there's actual sexual acts. Tijuana bibles differ on the fact there's no artist or publisher, so there's nothing to identify/validate.
  14. Is there specific date range for which older cases cause direct damage? I have a variety of modern SS, some graded between 2009-2017. They all appear to be in solid shape, but was worried about the rumors from that time.
  15. If you've only just gotten it back, shoot a message to support with the images of the Newton rings. They'll reholder it for free. There's always a risk it comes back worse, but yours are already pretty bad.
  16. Ended up going with larger boxes in the end. Still curious since I'd heard of people putting several orders in one box, but not one order in several boxes.
  17. Hi, I am submitting 10 or so slabs (signature/reholder) in the next couple days. Can one order be split across multiple boxes? Figured I'd send 4-5 Medium flat rates with 2-3 slabs in each, but they'd all be on the same order form. Thanks
  18. Thanks! Wasn't looking to sell or anything, so I agree with that statement entirely. Her name is normally printed next to his on those variants, so it would make sense. I already have some slabs signed by her so I'll hold off this time around.
