I just want to say "tell us WTF you agreed upon TO THE LETTER" You took it to the people and now the people want to hear the conclusion. You can't just use us for your own satisfaction and leave us hanging. That's not how a community works. As far as I'm concerned you are both on my probation list until time stands still if you don't cough up the details. Don't bother buying from me, nor will I buy from you. I'm happy that you came to an S & M type happy conclusion but someone give me my time back for 70 pages of selling research wasted by members agreeing in private that they aren't despicable to try to escape being put on the probation list in the end. You my friend need to chill out maybe go back and read it again cause you apparently missed alot, i said time and time again i got screwed and theres nothin i can do, i dont have the book and never will what more do you want?? As far as putting me on the probation list seriously grow up and dont worry i wont buy from you and you can do the same from me. I didnt make the resolution private at all You made the resolution private by not making it public, and from the way you have worded it you had no say in the resolution either and that is sad. John, I jumped the gun and filed an authorized payment because it was my only option since I paid using "Gift" I wasn't about to absorb the loss. My bank never said a word about I didn't authorize the payment and most of all. I guarantee you'll get back your book, In fact I will post the confirmation number as soon as I ship it out. I only suggested waiting for shipping the book back, was because paypal never canceled my request to cancel the claim. I also copied and pasted the final cancellation page that shows I did. Besides John, You posted that you never knew I was on the probation list. You asked me to post the "I'll take it" icon and I told you it would be better that I didn't because of the reason of being on the probation list and also I told you I was on the list and said if you sell to me I will send payment in a few moments which I did. Now who is telling stories? Anyway, there is no reason for you to make this public but since you want too, then so be it. spiderman-on-tilt...I know it's not a ton of money...but I would consider contacting esquirecomics about this transaction for some legal advice. BucOne clearly made the payment in question, and then by his own admission in this thread, filed a claim stating that he did not authorize the payment in a fraudulent attempt to get his money back. BucOne obviously needs to be taught a lesson in what is legal and appropriate and I for one would do it on principal alone. If you let a dog pizz on your leg, he's going to keep pizzing on legs until someone forces him to change that behavior.

I put a link by HGComics entry which details why HGComics could potentially be BucOne. It's the same thing. People will now be educated about the situation and can make their own informed decision. Arch was obviously suspicious as well and felt it was necessary to alert us to it. And I don't feel it's necessary for another board member to get ripped off before we make people aware of the obvious (and quite frankly...lame) attempt at hiding his identity yet again from his place on the Proabation List.

I disagree. BucOne has changed his name 4 times already in an attempt to hide his identity so he can escape the Probation List. Now another account has been created and they're "claiming" to be someone else that just happens to be using the same computer as BucOne. I'm sorry, but I'm just not that gullible...and I don't need a notarized document telling me that something smells wrong here. I created a seperate listing for HGComics with a link to the reason why he was added. People can then judge for themselves to either do business with HGComics or not based on this knowledge.

I wonder if a custom title that would only appear in a post in the marketplace would be in order. I wonder if it would even be possible. One thing the moderators CAN do is ban select members from having access to a particular part of the forum...like the Market area. This is easily done and would prevent those individuals from being able to view or post to this area while still being able to access the rest of the forums. Something else that could be done, although I'm not sure if it's possible, is to take away their private messaging privileges. This would prevent them from soliciting any business in private away from the selling forums. If they're aren't going to ban these crooks...then this would be the next best thing. If these individuals are so frigging desperate to "contribute" to the forums...then let them contribute to other areas without giving them the ability to con fellow members out of their money.

I agree. I looked over his old posts and one of the forum members met both 8milemax and Russ at a show, so it doesn't look like he's a shill. However...it was way too convenient that he showed back up after a two year break right before Russ/ComicSupply tried to weasel his way back onto the forum. Just like it was a little too convenient that he happened to want a book right after a forum member refused to sell it to Russ. And as long as he continues to insert himself into these ComicSupply threads, he deserves whatever mess storm falls his way. He needs to learn when to shut the hell up, and then he needs to teach that lesson to Russ.

Russ/ComicSupply has had his chances in here. Dozens of them. He's not going to be allowed to roam freely in here any longer and continue to cheat people. PERIOD! I would advise you to back away from it. By sticking up for him, you are in effect, condoning his crooked behavior. And speaking from a personal standpoint, that makes you almost as bad as him in my book. If you really are his friend, you'd sit him down, smack him upside the head and tell him how badly he's screwing up, and then tell him to stay out of the forum before he does any more damage to his business (if that's even possible at this point).

I'm still wondering why the customer who preordered $38 worth of books gets the option of a refund...while the guy who preordered $430 worth of books is told to stuff it and wait some more for his books.

So what is the connection between the two of you? I have known him before he opened up comic supply. You should have talked him out of it.
