  1. Dave donated a group of items to the Thomas Drew thread which I bought. Some cool items, plus he threw in some freebee's! Thanks Dave.
  2. Here are two letters from Maggie Thompson before she and Don went to work at CBG
  3. Here is a letter from Alan Light of Comic Buyers Guide fame.
  4. This was in a large collection I bought a few years ago.
  5. Overall this is a fantastic show. I would hate to see it end.
  6. I'm a dealer in North Carolina and I saw and dealt with Thomas quite a bit. The last time I saw him was at the Greenville SC Comic Con April 15. He was running around the Con as usual looking for high grade books. He was staying at the same hotel as me, and I saw him, Carmen, and his little girl at the restaurant and spoke to them all. I'm glad I did. I will post something this evening to the thread.
  7. Dwight, which dealer had the Strassler pulps? I don't recall seeing any of those there at the show!
  8. Most of the pulps in the two auctions were very nice grades. For the most part, the prices were very strong! As October pointed out the Batwoman went for $13,000 and the first conan went for $14,000. First part of Red Nails went for $2,000. The general thoughts around the dealers room was folks were banking on when CGC starts slabbing pulps.
  9. Bob told me he was doing home renovations and had moved stuff to the storage facility to have room for the workers in the house.
  10. Polio victims are now facing what they are calling Post Polio Syndrome in their later years.
