Likewise. Just coincidentally posted that as well in the Water Cooler. A film with lots of bizarre and inventive imagery. Great actor.

Snyder’s Justice League was superb. The magnum opus of an extremely talented director. -

I agree. His Apes movies were quite slow as well, so a similar directorial pacing for this one doesn’t surprise me. -
Never a good idea to give kids a chemistry set containing a toxic radioisotope with a half-life measured in millions of years. Quite insane. I knew about this product but never noticed that it also came with a comic book, with a unique definition of ‘hot’ associated with it.

Basically, for me it was the best presentation for the least money. So, if I could find a great-looking 9.0 with no obvious colour-breaking creases, an even wrap, fresh white pages, nice colour strike, and which appeared UHG, then I’d be satisfied with that value. For anything with a hint of key status associated with it that time of affordable, apparent mintiness has now passed, of course.

Guaranteed to make any story he appears in look completely mental.

I feel like I’m adjusting to the new prices

I'm not complying with or adjusting to something that's become so bloody absurd and unrealistic for most. Polar opposite opinion. -
It's also possible that the primate can't stand the smell of Cloverine Brand Salve. Or was intimidated by confusing that with the aggressively masculine, musky fragrance of its better known competitor, Wolverine Brand Salve.

I'll admit that doesn't look good, but JR JR did do some nice art during that Daredevil run, just prior to developing his blockier style.

Some will always want the original alone, others a combination of a raw or slabbed original to curate while having a facsimile or other reprint such as a Masterwork or Archive to read, others just the most affordable reprint. Most likely has little effect on the way that range is skewed.

If a reader or collector draws a facesmile on an original comic book, of course the defaced comic book is reduced in value. Even if it's an issue of Watchmen. This would not apply to comics icons such as Stan Lee, of course, who could've got away with a facesmile doodle as easily as he did with the classic spider-cockroach.

If you can find those in decent condition for $4, quality as well as great buys.

Yup. I don’t use eBay, but the last thing casual dealers on there want is an OCD mint maniac like me. Completely expendable.
-
Yup. Better safe than sorry.

The best one I encountered was at a Manchester comic mart a couple of decades ago, when I asked if I could look at a comic and was refused, the explanation for the intense distress being.. “Oh no, I just bagged and boarded all of them last night!” You do need to check those back covers, even with cheap boxes. Practical, not OCD.

I’ve just completed the Mass Effect Legendary Edition in its entirety on Insanity level. Not really that difficult except in one or two places, such as the end of the Omega DLC and the start of the Citadel DLC, even with the most physically vulnerable Adept build. My favourite, as creating biotic detonations and having your opponents flail about in singularities never gets old, all the while manoeuvring with weak shields that can be cut through in seconds. Described as the Mage build, but, to us, it’s more the Superpower option. The graphics upgrade is variable, but in many places is quite impressive; more detail, better textures and colour, and 4K on PS5. Despite Mass Effect 1 being described as dated, I thought it was excellent. Having never played it before, spotting foreshadowing developed in the subsequent games was interesting. The planet exploration and Mako was perfectly fine, apart from the cookie cutter repetition of the bases you locate. Mass Effect 2, of course, is deservedly ranked as an all-time classic game, and especially the final Suicide Mission. Great characters and dialogue. Mass Effect 3 is criticised for the limited options presented at the end, despite having been promised significant differences based upon your decisions throughout the 3 games leading up to it. Not quite so disappointing if you think of the entire final game simply as the aftermath to the Suicide Mission, as your choices might change how the third game itself develops: you might lose teammates during that mission, some might remain with you, others move on elsewhere with their lives, some might live or die in the third game, and one is an inevitable, terminal loss. Overall, fantastic to play an Ultimate Edition of one of my favourite series of all time. Superb.
