  2. Exactly. They were great casting choices by Fox for their respective roles. Fassbender was a fantastic Magneto. First Class and Days of Future Past were the best two X-Franchise movies. It is too bad that Fox jumped the shark with Apocalypse and Dark Phoenix instead of building on the momentum of the other two.
  3. Are there no hot books from this week's new releases?
  4. Interesting that the DC panel will only focus on the two films. That is a good sign, IMHO, that the new CEO is taking a more serious look at the plan for the DCEU and will be making more changes.
  5. Looks like the announcement of Season 2 has been accidentally leaked: https://insidethemagic.net/2022/07/star-wars-accidentally-confirms-book-of-boba-fett-season-2-announcement-kb1/
  6. If DC is considering a singer, I think fanbase and pretty face >>>>>>> ability to act.
  7. Is there demand for Dead World? I found some on the weekend while sorting boxes from my most recent collection purchase. There is a ton of 80s/90s indie and horror in the mix.
  8. They are both very different but both equally good. Blasphemy. The Boys >>>>> than this show.
  9. Soon enough the question will be which MCU character has not wielded Mjolnir.
  10. No need to flog this dead horse. Too much spatter would hit us. And, does anyone care enough about a B or C lister like Thor to put any effort in?
  11. If it is Segel, then Marvel effed up again in casting an actor who is too tall just like Wolverine. According to the Marvel Comics Wiki, the Thing is only 6' tall. Segel is 6'4". How can they do this yet again? https://characterprofile.fandom.com/wiki/The_Thing_(Marvel_Comics)
  12. I am sorting through boxes from a past collection buy and it had one Sandman comic in it - a copy of the #18 blue panel variant. This is the second one I have found locally in the past year. I wonder if there were more copies in circulation here as the first one was from a LCS back issue bin and this copy was likely purchased at the same store back in the day as that is where it appears the owner frequented based on labels on other books in their collection.
  13. Yeah. They need to make that happen sooner or later - I am sure most of us here have stacks of her 1st app ready for it.
  14. +1. The same can be said for all of the HR 1:10s/1:25s and HR Advs 1:10s from the first series of both titles, as well as the minis and one-shots. The bonus for the Mando comics is that you already know that D+ is built in for the characters. The only question left is movies.
  15. Makes sense from a business perspective. India has a younger population and is likely to pass China in total population soon.
  16. Mando #1 still is 1st Din so there will be some value for it long term. Now, if you paid top dollar you might want to bail, but if you got it for cover (or at a discount to cover) then you are fine.
  17. Maybe they can get these two to help Just kidding. After TL&T these two are likley radioactive for a bit.
  18. So, there will be 20 heroes and 20 villains in this film?
  19. Excellent! Now they just need to add a third show centred on Solider Boy, Stormfront and all of the older supes set in era. The "historical" show could be used to set plotlines in motion for The Boys and Varsity.
  20. Looking back on this, how did they do?
