I wonder how long it will be until they reboot the franchise after this?

Took a chance on this #1 for $100. Did I do alright?

Like a Greggy crayon color touch job......... -
I am not a fan of Black Bolt and thought it was hilarious. Sort of like how they deal with Translucent in The Boys.

Agreed, but I think it had the benefit of the Eternals, Black Widow, and Shang-Chi lowering expectations so far that this movie seemed Oscar worthy in comparison. And Elizabeth Olsen may have a bit of a following........

eBay was great for single book and collection buys up until the mid 2000s, but I found Yahoo Auctions to be even better for finds. I nabbed a few small GA collections and plenty of SA/BA OO collections (a couple that were unread run continuations from GA/Atom age collections) there as there were fewer people buying there. It was awesome until it ended and practically everyone switched to eBay. It is funny to look back at how cheap things were up until 2005 or so. I can remember buying 12 copies of CSS #22 in a 6 month span ranging from VG to FN for $20 - $60 apiece. I felt the market was crazy when I was getting $200 - $400 apiece for them a couple of years later.

And I hope that @thehumantorch does not notice the stamp missing from the Hulk #181 you two bought at the Expo. -

Amazing display, @Artboy99! It is nice to see the finished product after the years of hunting for the pieces. -
Yes, a run of #1-5 in a Heritage lot a couple of years ago when they were worthless. Good thing I did not put any of those indie books in dollar bins. There were some early issues of Bone, Miracleman 1 & 24, plus a bunch of others.

And looks 10 years older........

They set it up for spin-off sequels for Aria, Bran, John and Sansa with the way the left it off. Heck, even Grey Worm and the Dothraki. The actors/actresses have all had some time now to see what the non-GoT gigs look like and will likely come back. If HBO plays it right, then this becomes a world they can build and expand like Amazon's LoTR or SW for Disney.

The thing I did not like about that scene was that the first reaction is we are too big to fit in and fix it. Who wired it in the first place then, another child? Leia also had help from her droid pet. Without it that was not getting solved any time soon.

He mentioned revenge is a powerful force for staying alive, but I also think his race has two stomachs (no joke). I don't know why I know that, but I'm pretty sure that's the case. Depends on what they hit. The lightsaber cut would be clean and cauterize the wound. As long as it passes through without hitting the spine or damage essential internal organs too much then survival is possible. Sort of like an abdominal gunshot wound, but one that does not bleed.

Are comic price guides still relevant?
kimik replied to mintcomics1's topic in Newbie Comic Collecting Questions
I know some buyers that only offer a low percentage of OPG and still are successful with buying collections. For them it is extremely relevant, but for the sellers -
More sad news for the hobby. My condolences to his family and friends. Rest in Peace.

Can they finally spend more than $20 on the CGI for the symbiotes in this one? Or, is Sony still struggling too much for that to happen?

I am being a bit facetious with my comment. At the time of the original trilogy they may have considered showing him as that powerful but did not. That being said, if three force wielders can do it, and none are technically Masters, then basically anyone can...... At least Oldie-One is starting to resemble Obi-Wan after a few days finally.

My question is this - if he can use the force to pull down a ship taking off now, whey did he not do the same moving ships around in any of the original trilogy? For instance, all he would have had to do in A New Hope is stand a short distance in front of the thermal vent and wave his hands around smashing X and Y wings into the Death Star walls for a bit. Not as dramatic, but more effective than the approach he did choose......
