Yeah, it is getting bad with a lot of books you see in auction now. If not fully popped, nasty pulls/tears at the staples.

Surfer Black 4 Knull variant for $25, and it is a $150 - $200 book. Some other variants I can't remember that are $100 - $200 books for only $5-$25. Basically, one store had stuff priced in the bins that they had not updated.

Definitely. I have not found one in a while (to be honest, I have not been looking) and need to get a new copy. Have you been bin diving at the LCSs since things opened up? I know one person that scored some great deals on variants last week.

Smart move by AT&T/Warner to respond to fans' interest and release the director cuts of the movies (SS and JL). It is a great way to add subscribers to HBO Max.

Yeah, it was awesome. One of my favorite comic reads of all time is X-O #0. The Quesada artwork was awesome at the time as well.

Just check GPA and you will have the answer. It is Bone 1 by a lot. TWD 1 is dropping as the popularity of the franchise wanes. Prices peaked when Negan offed Glenn and Abraham on the show and have been dropping since.

It will be punished a bit for the fugly miswrap. The colours do not pop on it as much as my lowly 9.4 - not sure if that is the book or the way Clink scanned it.

I am not sure who owns it now, here is an image I came across via Google. It is the one piece in my former collection that I would love to have back. Personally, I think it is better this way than with the color added. DC should have done a 2nd printing B&W version of this cover.

I still have my "Sinestro wars" set from back in the day. That GL run was a great read. Johns was at his peak then. When I sold off my OA collection a while back the only piece I regretted was the cover to this. It was a pencils only piece, not inked, and was spectacular in person.

Check out the prices from 2020 for every other grade it is available. It is not close at all now. And, on buying the 9.0 X-Men when you did. That was a way better buy than a 9.0 Avengers 1 would have been at that time.

Interesting. If AT&T/WB is smart, they can use this as a launching pad for a number of streaming spin-off series on HBO Max. This is why I am interested in seeing what Disney/Lucas has planned for the High Republic. You can use the comics, books, and the animated and live action shows on the streaming services to all set up bigger event movies. That way you get the recurring revenue stream from the streaming service (cake) and build up for blockbuster movies (cherry on top).

After they get a copy of X-Men 1 first...........
