  1. Wow. I guess I have to see how many of these I have in my $1 boxes before the show tomorrow. I know there should be a few from collection purchases. Another book movin on up thanks to movie hype.
  2. Bats #234 is a BA book, unfortunately. I would love to include #232 and #234 in the Silver Age Batvillain group shot due to the Neal Adams artwork.
  3. What hot books will be available? ASM #798 at a discounted $20 USD apiece for you..........
  4. I have seen a number of copies, but it is tougher to land in NM or better.
  5. Nah, we just need to change the title. Nobody buys Bats #227s anymore. It is #251 that is the hot book now.........
  6. Let’s see it, bro! How many copies of IM 55 are you bringing? I would imagine that you are well stocked for Calgary again. I had three to start the year, but my 7.0 and 8.0 have already sold.
  7. Awesome. I might have to break out my CGC 9.4 IM 55 to see if I can set a new GPA high at the show.......
  8. If they kill off Antman in Infinity War does that mean the sequel is cancelled?
  9. Where the X-Men come in to save the day...........
  10. And that shop from Dublin the quoted, his numbers don't even make it on Comichron. Yeah, but he did not say what he is starting from. Increasing by 400% could mean 100 copies or 1000 copies. Same goes for the store with the 10x on ASM numbers. I picked up 100 copies from a LCS at a discount to chase the 1:100 since I like the Ross cover. That order was a multiple of their monthly ASM file sales on its own. Don't get me wrong - I think that having Marvel confirm the 1st app with a bit of time to spare will help ensure huge numbers (the LCS owner I ordered from called me as soon as he saw it confirmed so I placed the order with him and I posted it here), but I think that #800 will be the one with the huge print run in this arc due to the number of 1:100, 1:200, 1:500 and 1:1000 variants. Despite the high cover price, a lot of stores will have at least one regular variant collector that wants a 1:1000. Add in the month or so before FOC and I can see a lot of stores pre-selling regular copies like crazy to get as many variants as they can.
  11. I think that the spec bubble will not hit in full force until the upcoming Marvel relaunch. That wave of variants should put the last two rounds of Marvel relaunches to shame.........
  12. No clue. I am just going with whatever is the most recent issue I could find with a cursory glance on comichron
  13. Bought it, took one minute to read it since there were so many panels with nothing to read, and will not be buying #2. I am not a fan of the artwork and the lack of a story to draw me in was a negative as well.
  14. I thought she was brought in at some point? I have no clue as the only Spidey arcs I have read since the early 90s were Sins of the Past and the early Otto-Spidey run (ASM 698 - Superior 1). It would be fun to see Red Goblin do it regardless.
  15. I hope that they keep MJ and kill off Spider-Gwen instead. Green Goblinl = death of Gwen (although Peter did actually cause her death), so Red Goblin getting rid of Spider-Gwen has some symmetry to it.
  16. Interesting. That could make ASM #800 a book that holds its value for a bit....................until they re-intro MJ from the Spider-Verse in as Spider-Jane.........
  17. Is this a fresh to market copy or press and resub of a 9.2/9.4?
  18. Knowing that, I will now. I may even bring out one of my unsorted SA/BA/CA/Modern keys boxes for you to dig through. I can't remember what is even in some of those boxes now..........
  19. I did not say which side of the booth will be higher......... or which side will actually have the books. I know that one will for sure and they may/may not be pricing at full market value.
