I need to raise some cash in the near term to cover some more house renos. As a result, I will be posting a handful of Silver and Bronze Age books over the next 24 hrs. As usual, trumps PMs I have not responded to. Shipping Policy: Shipping for slabbed comics starts at $20 in a small box with tracking and insurance in Canada and the continental USA. Overseas shipping will be charged at the postal rate. Note: Assume that all slabbed books have been pressed. Some I have done myself, others that I bought slabbed are likely pressed as well. Return Policy: Within 14 days of receipt for raw books. No return on slabbed books.

Which key issues that are currently undervalued in your opinion?
kimik replied to blahposh's topic in Bronze Age Comic Books
I am not sure that it is really undervalued any longer. The book fetches some decent prices in high grade. -
A true 8.0 or better Action #242 is definitely rare, and 7.0s like this are tough to find as well. That being said, it would bug me to look at a 7.0 in an 8.0. FWIW, I have a similar situation with my current Batman #181 CGC 9.0. I bought it as a beautiful 7.5 in an auction lot to send in for grading (the lot yielded 9.0 copies of #171 and #189 as well), and that is what it still is in my eyes. The label is an issue, though, so I just keep it tucked away in a box of slabs and hidden from my sight.

I get what you are saying, but there is still way too much damage on the spine for it to be an 8.0 IMHO. It looks like a 7.0 max due to the spine creasing (they are too large for an 8.0) and a couple of other spots on the front cover, and we don't know if there is anything else on the back. That being said, this is one of the books that gets the most out of the "key bump" on a consistent basis.

That was a hilarious episode. I loved the backyard fight in front of the neighbours.

Copper's Heating/Selling Well on Ebay

Hopefully this will work out well for all parties involved, and hopefully Dinesh made a nice pile of cash for all of his time in keeping Valiant afloat.
