Yeah, but Nolan was working with Batman. Shazam is nowhere near as well known as Batman. I think the smart way to play this is to give Billy or Shazam a cameo in the JL movie somehow. Heck, even a Daily Planet front story article with a picture and caption "Is Superman back?" with a photo of Shazam lifting a large object is all you need. Marvel would somehow weave a teaser cameo in, which is what DC needs to do to get the casual movie goer wondering who Shazam is and intrigued a bit.

I completely disagree with this article. Gal Gadot has much nicer legs than Shrek/Mike Myers.

We will see what happens. If it is just more of the same Marvel formula I am not certain that it will do as well as people are hoping. The release date should help, though, as it is the first hero film out of the gate in 2018. Unless we hear good things about the film, my kids will want wait to hit the theatre a week later to see the Pacific Rim sequel instead.

Hmm......bringing in Shazam at the end to help with the final battle vs. Steppenwolf would be a fantastic way to intro the character. The only reason I doubt it is that WB/DC has not shown the ability to do something that clever yet in their films. That being said, either Martian Manhunter or Shazam instead of Supes would be very cool. The only issue with that theory it is that Cavill was on set for the filming, right?
