I had a login issue for the first time in quite a while today and when I clicked on login, the drop downs were not working. There is a JavaScript error that prevents the sub nav items (childNodes) from showing up and making the log out link inaccessible (see below). Luckily, I have it book marked in case I need it. https://www.cgccomics.com/account/logout I also noticed, but did not screen shot, the cookies that are/were controlling the login are not there anymore? I didn't dig too much but there have definitely been some changes that appear to not have worked. IIRC, there were two login cookies set and both were due to expire today.

Same, hoping prices moderate some and that I can grab two of the four. -

Sweet book. My question is what it the impact of the two interior pages? I almost want to call it chipping but it doesn't appear to be. A little too ragged? Not torn either... None of the other pages have any issues and he pages are not brittle.

Bronze Collecting Goals for 2022
universal soldier replied to Mr.Fantastic's topic in Bronze Age Comic Books
Finish my Bronze run of FF (39 issues to go) and Incredible Hulk (72 to go). Half of the IH are 255- 290, which I have none, so I'll start with the lower numbers. -

Nice book! This and 51 are the next two I'm hoping to knock off my list. -
current turn around rates at CGC

Usually about an hour after dinner but if I've had that extra cup of coffee that throws my timing off a bit. Sorry, couldn't help myself. I've thrown my hope for a Christmas miracle out the door. My 4 economy books are still SFG. I'm hoping to get an update from my LCS after Christmas to see if anything has changed. Delivered - 7/12 SFG - 9/2 -
Book collecting seems harder today then it was last year
universal soldier replied to Bluemedgroup's topic in Comics General
I struggle being so close on completing some runs and happy that I was able to focus on certain titles over the past 25 years since I got back in to collecting. It also becomes a matter of what grade you are okay with to complete a run or acquire that "key". I've had to adjust my goals as well. I had really hoped to finish my full run of ASM (1 to today + annuals, king size etc...) in 2020 -2021. I'm down to 4 issues but I've held off for now, hoping that prices will moderate some while understanding that I either need to adjust my minimum grade of accept the fact that I'll need to pony up extra $$ to get these issues. Runs like FF 1 -300 are not realistic anymore since I own nothing under #30. I shifted my focus to 30+ and that should be attainable since I already have most of the keys. Really thankful I completed my Uncanny X-men run from GS /94 to the end of V1. What I really need to do is unload the bottom 1/3 of my collection. Books that I don't care so much about that are just taking space can help fund these somewhat out of reach books I need. I've also realized and accepted that I'll never have a collection of 9.8 silver and bronze keys. I do have my base grades for both regular and keys and try and find the best deal possible in that range. Sometimes you score and other times you need to settle. I'm just fine with VF -
Anybody noticing any toy shortages?
universal soldier replied to Robot Man's topic in Comics General
This is what the shelves at Target looked like for me over the weekend. I'm at that in between stage with a 23 year old and no grandkids yet so I have no need to buy toys. I did need a toy plane to go along with my "theme" gift but it took a lot of googling and a few trips to different stores to get what I needed. No inventory is dead on, if you haven't gotten the toy you wanted by now you are likely SOL. -
