Some healthy prices tonight for the 9.6 Fantuccio copies X-Men #75 ($1,189) and the #76 ($3,452).

That's a hefty price to pay for a Bronze age non-key with five other copies known in the same grade. I wonder what a 9.8 #76 would fetch?

  2. I just got back from 4 days in NYC. First time there. Wasn't looking for comics but did stumble across Forbidden Planet and found a few bargain TPBs in their sale section. Tried all the food, had some great bagels at Ess-a-bagel and some terrible hot dogs at a joint whose name eludes me, but the best eating experience we had was at Juliana's Pizza, just on the other side of the Brooklyn Bridge. We walked across the bridge to get there and then took the NYC ferry back to midtown. (thumbsu

  3. While on vacation in NYC for the first time this past week I stumbled across Forbidden Planet while on my way to the Strand. Went to their sale section and managed to grab these three brand new TPB for less than $60! Check them out if you are in New York, they have got a LOT of stuff!

No more HoF upgrades as of yet, but I managed to ensnare another Bethlehem copy of a Feldstein Weird Fantasy cover yesterday:

Wow, what a great snag, with blacks and yellows still as deep as outer space after nearly 75 years! Congrats Ed! (thumbsu
