Just watch out, the fire hydrants and headlights are pointy and blinding around here...
I did notice the wiener dog is giving the fire hydrant the same look the kid is giving the blonde...

No superheroes in this one, but when I was a kid Harvey comics were all I wanted and the Richie Rich issues from 1974/75 with adventure covers (as opposed to the ones where he is using one of his mom's spare diamonds as a bowling ball and laughing and smiling on the cover) by Warren Kremer still hold a special place in my heart and my collection!

Galactus, Found!

As a huge Galactus fan, I've been chasing one of these in NM or better for a while. Managed to snag this one (the Mound City copy) from one of my favorite online comic shops, High Grade Comics, and the always easy to deal with Bob Storms.

Was able to work out a trade deal with Metro for this. Been wanting a Suscha News squarebound. Thanks to Barton for the scan ?
Wow, great addition to your Registry Set, Thomas. Pedigreed and with pages whiter than the feathers on Thor's helm! Congrats!

Those are some sweet squarebounds, Thomas, and I'm a big fan of that Fear, especially with those bone-white pages!

I don't see any resemblance between Daffy and Howard other than they're ducks.
Try reading the original Howard the Duck run from #1 up. I loved the series back in the day. His villains were very unusual.
I just finished reading Howard the Duck: the Complete Collection Vol. 1 and, for me, I see a definite resemblance between Howard and Daffy, at least in attitude: they both share the same sentiment toward mankind:

And loaded with integrity. When he explained the mistake he'd made (he'd intended to list the comic at $260) I offered more money but he refused to even split the difference. Crazy Canadians.
I was the buyer of the Richie Rich #1 CGC 4.0 so hopefully that, along with some other big purchases by boardies in this thread, has helped soften the blow.
Thanks again, Andy, and have a great Canada Day weekend!

Double wow. The Wolverton art is incredible with snowy white pages and colors that are brighter than a bag of Skittles. Why hasn't some deep-pocketed Centaur collector already snagged this gem?
