This cover makes you realize how much Wrightson was influenced by Ingels...
You nailed it. Every time I look at Wrightson's cover to House of Mystery #204 I can't help thinking he had to have been inspired by Ingels' amazing cover art on Haunt of Fear #24.

My second thread - let's hope EC Comics are more popular than DC.
A mixture of raw and slabbed this time. Please excuse any glare from the scanner on the pics, still trying to figure out the best settings. Now, the rules:
o No Probies or Hall of Shame members.
o Payment via Paypal.
o Shipping: $15 for slabs and $10 for raw (in any quantity) in USA and Canada. US shipments will be sent USPS priority post and Canadian shipments will be sent by Canada Post (from the north side of the border). Overseas shipping at cost and only to established board members with references. I normally ship in 2-3 days.
o No returns on graded books unless I have missed something major.
o References: Have bought a ton of stuff (probably too much) on the boards if that counts for anything. Also occasionally sell on eBay as comic_gems

A few final price reductions before closing this thread.

Bumpity-bump
Get 'em while you can!
Thread will be closing Sunday (moving to other venue).

Nay for me. I do ship within North America now, but in all my years on eBay the only problems I ever had were with overseas buyers. And they were frequent enough that I eventually just stopped offering items outside of Canada and the USA altogether.

Though I have relatively few FFs, this near mint white-paged dynamic Dr. Doom cover is a welcome addition - courtesy of one of the lurkers on this very thread!

I "know" that guy from the EC Fan Addict Club on Facebook (he has a "day job", apparently now trying to run an online comic shop on the side). Presents himself as a hardcore EC collector, and a while back was saying that CoT #19 was one of his favorite issues and that he wanted to hoard as many copies as possible (I actually sold him a copy to add to his hoard...the 8.0 he now has listed on eBay). Apparently, he has decided to move on from that idea...interesting decision to list them all at one time.
Ed, you know you are supposed to offer any and all EC under copies here on the boards first (or better yet just PM me directly!).

The breasts seem...unnatural. Next time the artist may want to refer to this handy drawing guide.
This tiny crease OK for a 9.2?

To me that's no better than a 9.0 but based on some of the grades I saw in the March Madness grading contest from CGC...sure, it's a 9.2.
