Yeah, I got the Shocking Detective at the Comic Connect Cole estate auction. I got lucky on the Flaming Romances. I googled it several years ago and found it listed on an outdated website. I contacted the dealer and he still had it! I would love to find the Weird Jungle Tales cover proof

Not me! I made offers slightly below his asking prices but he rejected them and decided to sell them off eBay. I’ve been in severe depression ever since! I’m kicking myself for not hitting the bin on the Startling Terror 7 & 14 and the Shocking Mystery 55. The Ghostly Weird 122 was already gone by the time I saw them They were priced very aggressively but I may never have another chance to get them in that condition. His price on the Fantastic Fears 6 is almost double what I paid for my 8.0 last summer.

Welcome to the boards! I’ve been working on my high grade Cole collection for over 12 years and I’ve never seen a high grade copy of Spook 28 or Ghostly Weird 120. I have the other 6 that you’re looking for but I hope to keep them forever! Startling Terror 5 and 9 are nearly impossible but I got lucky and finally found nice copies.

Hard to pick between the two of them but since I already have a 19 I’ll go with the 10. I’d take a Mister Mystery 6 over both of them!
