  1. It's the same with Golden age books. Certain hot covers like Startling 49 have skyrocketed.
  2. Will the Berk pedigree hold value in the future? What does everyone think?
  3. Was outbid on the lot I wanted. Big drop on the Elvgren fire girl! Dropped by 80k from the 2011 sale. Ouch!
  4. Rockwells study for triple self portrait sold for 1.3 million at heritage. Back in 2004, I saw this piece and could have bought it for $175k. Having graduated college, I had no chance. Its amazing that it was just as out of reach then as it is now.
  5. Make sure you send it registered with signature required. I also highly suggest having someone video tape you packing the book. The seller could claim you sent an empty box. You can't put anything past him.
  6. PGM Batman 190 Picked this up today! Everything is firmly attached.
  7. Glad to here George Perez is better. Was a bummer that he and Art Adams coudnlt make it but that's life. Mike Manley also didn't make it. Was hoping to get on Garcia Lopez's list but it was full within minutes. Plus he didn't come until 11:30. Prearranged Ken Lashley. Obtained Tucci, Franco and Macguire at the show. And picked up some gold and silver batman books. And saw a Batman 1 in 2.0 blue at Anthony's table. He had a very bad accident on his way home from Chicago but thank goodness everyone is ok.
  8. FS: Ebay Marvel Mystery Comics 37 CGC 7.0 Sharp copy that looks much nicer than a 7.0! Feel free to PM any questions or offers here. http://www.ebay.com/itm/292098761742?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649
  9. $30 tickets end up being $37 after taxes and a service charge. Seems pricey for this type of show.
  10. Interesting they are opening sales during another East Coast convention.
  11. My Top 5 golden age I would keep if I could only keep 5: Detective Comics 27, Detective Comics 31, Batman 1, Action Comics 7, Captain America 1. Tough to pick.
