    The original owner is a very nice man who presently lives in NC. I met him in the late 90s. The CC story is correct, he did purchase these books in the early 40s off the rack from a store in Greenville, SC. The AS 3 was the nicest of the bunch. It was very cool to see his Flash 1 and 2 as well.

    Interesting to see this thread on Alan Light. Got me thinking about an odd version of the Overstreet price guide #1 I got several years ago in Chicago. It's not quite white and it's not quite blue. $6 cover price is what really threw me. Light's old copy apparently.....

    Maybe the switch from Fawcett to Charlton and 5 year gap between #3 and #4 threw them off? No question #4 is the last one before the series became Romantic Secrets with issue 5.

    Congrats! What a tough issue too. All-Negro has for years been touted as "rare" but I've found over the years that all four issues of NR are much scarcer than All-Negro.

    Flash 1 is now 210k in NM-. It is #15 in the Top 100.

    Bottom 5 of the Top 100 GA books are.... (all tied for #96) are Action 20, AA 25, Tec 32, Exciting 9, and Punch 12. Top of guide for each of them is now 28k.

    It was All-Star 8 (at 49%) according to the Top 100 GA Comics listing, just edging out WW 1 (47%), Tec 36 (45%), Tec 37 (44%), and Tec 40 (43%).

    Yes, actually $1,500 in Good, $4,500 in Fine, and $15,000 in Nm-. Guess Bob and the gang finally decided to catch this book up closer to its current pricing. Any other price requests?

    Yep. Roughly doubling in all grades. Also, Flash 1 went up 50%+ in 9.0 and below. Good is now 15k (was 9500). About time for this early DC key.
