  1. Animal Castle #3B is a must-have for cat lovers. Not very flashy, but it will stand out among more colorful covers. Scrapper #4 comes out on October 18th and is available for pre-order.
  2. Okay no worries! I thought it might be something like that. Thank you for responding now! The order number is CGC2236005246. The submission number is 4295623. I may have to update my authorization on the account.
  3. It may seem like a silly question, but hear me out: I've been grading with CGC for a little while now - nowhere near as long as most of y'all, but long enough that I think I've seen nearly everything. I'm very diligent with tracking my submissions. I typically check the Submission Tracking webpage at least twice a day to keep my personal tracking spreadsheet as current as possible. Usually, when a submission leaves the "Grading/Encapsulation/Imaging" sage, it goes right to "Shipped". For this particular submission, instead of being "Shipped", it was labelled as "Safe/Completed". It has been at this status for almost 3 weeks, with no perceived movement and no responses from CGC Customer Service. I first noted the status on August 21. I assumed it was either a new in-between step from "Grading/Encapsulation/Imaging" to "Shipped", or merely a status I hadn't observed before. On August 23, after observing 2 days of inactivity, I contacted CGC Customer Service through their new SMS Customer Service line. I waited a week and received no response from the SMS line, so I visited the CGC Contact webpage and stated my case into their Customer Service form. I am still yet to receive a response. Has anyone else seen this specific status for a submission? Can anyone educate me on what exactly it means?
  4. from https://www.cgccards.com/card-grading/cards-we-grade/ "CGC Cards grades virtually all trading card games (TCGs), sports cards and non-sports cards. Currently, CGC Cards accepts cards sized 2-5/8” x 3-3/4” (6.6cm x 9.5cm) or smaller. Cards may be up to 7.25mm thick."
  5. Hello everyone, my name is Jordan, I'm an alcoholic authorized dealer and character collector. My first comic was an Archie Comics Sonic the Hedgehog #100 that I saw on a spinner rack at Stater Bros in 2001. While I don't collect so much anymore, my job allows to me to live vicariously through all of you wonderful people.
  6. Elder Scrolls IV (Jeremy Soule) No More Heroes (Masafumi Takada, Jun Fukuda) The Legend of Zelda series, particularly Twilight Princess (Toru Minegishi, Asuka Hayazaki) and Skyward Sword (Hajime Wakai, Shiho Fujii, Mahito Yokota, Takeshi Hama) Final Fantasy II (Nobuo Uematsu) Sonic Adventure 2 (Jun Senoue, Kenichi Tokoi, Tomoya Ohtani, Fumie Kumatani)
  7. Excellent, thank you for those answers @KaileeS CS!
  8. I was wondering what the firm cut-off date is for submitting to CGC before the CSG merger. I have a bunch of Pokémon and Marvel cards that I'd like to send in before the merger so that they can be encapsulated in the distinct blue casing with blue labels. Is the cut-off date determined by when a customer finalizes the submission? Or is it when CGC receives the cards and begins the grading process? If I complete a submission on my end before the merger, but it arrives after the official merger date, which holder and label would they receive?
  9. I like to use Pokéllector. There's a smartphone app and 2 desktop browser websites. English - https://www.pokellector.com Japanese - https://jp.pokellector.com/
  10. Since Tuesday, the home page has been more-or-less unusable. The dropdown menus are unresponsive, so I'm unable to create submissions, access submission tracking, or access the pop report. The only things I'm able to do are view the featured news articles (which are missing their banner images) and access the forums. Has anyone else been experiencing these issues? Or similar?
  11. "Low pop" refers to the population count of that particular card in that particular grade. This can potentially increase the value of a slab due to rarity, but not by much IME. When looking up your cards in the registry or submissions tracking pages, there's a section at the bottom that displays a short population report. It shows how many cards have received the same grade, and the total number of cards that received higher grades.
  12. 2 quick questions: Are they 1st Edition or Unlimited? Are they complete sets, including holos? Generally speaking, vintage holos are almost always worth grading. After that, I'd do personal favorite and fan favorites. If you have complete sets, it might be worth selling them all raw. Complete set of Unlimited Fossil goes for $450-$500 consistently per recent ebay sales.
  13. Thank you for the response! I may still get one graded, just to find out for sure. I'll report my findings back here in a few weeks! ✌️
  14. I saw on the front page that CGC is now grading amiibo cards. I'm strongly considering submitting a few for my PC, but there was one thing I wanted to know first. Is the holder thin enough to allow the amiibo to still be used after encapsulation?
  15. I was able to find the more recent Meiji promos, but nothing on the older sets. Any info would be appreciated. Thank you!
